brilliant product, great price,
This is an absolutely great product. First off it saves water. Which is why people are searching for this, however it also fixes other issues as well. I have 3 boys, so while they are washing their hands or brushing their teeth, they run the water and it just gets wasted. With this product only water runs when they need it, so that solves one issue and that is water consumption. My youngest son has a physical disability and doesn’t have 100% use of his left arm and hand. Simple tasks like hand washing are more difficult, but not with this product. He doesn’t need to stretch as far as he can to turn the handles on, all he needs to do is push the little stick and the water turns on. This product not only saves water, but also makes things easier for someone with a physical disability or maybe an injury. Also want to note that this item is solid, meaning it doesn’t feel like a cheap item that will break during the installation process. It has some weight to it, installs easily, and fits every sink I have in my house.

Cheaply made and not worth it.
It doesn't work well and broke. I had two significant issues (see below) and because of them I will never buy this again and I would recommend against others buying this.1) I tried it on two different sinks (one in a home built in the 70s and one in a laboratory built in 2010) and it caused water-hammering (a horrible noise that can with prolonged exposure damaged pipes).2) The rod you push to activate the thing snapped off from its attachment point after 2 months of use. The rod is attached to a super-shallow hole with what looks like glue and its no wonder it broke.

No Soup for You
I have owned two of these units for a good number of years and have found them to be the best solution to conserve water usage at the faucet level.Sadly and unfortunately this newer unit operated as advertised for only a few days and then it started to malfunction. For the most part the disc does not remain in its slot, thus entailing holding the rod manually to control water flow.If per chance it does remain in its slot, the water flow goes down to a mere trickle. The older units have a plastic part in the intake, this newer version has only a screen.Either it was put together wrongly during manufacture, or else its components are not the right ones.

Okay till it broke.
Worked the way I intended but it restricted the water flow more than I would have liked. It was very handy for a quick dash into the bath to wash your hands but I don't think it was able to hold up to my active family. It broke within a few months and isn't worth the time and money to reinstall one, so we're just using the handle now like everybody else.

Works great. But for my purposes in a commercial kitchen sink the shut off arm to long and its on pans while rinsing.

Smart Faucet REALLY smart
Purchased this product after having problems with a tight faucet handle which caused my index finger to swell from repeated twisting (have slight arthritis but this has made me realize how easy it is to cause damage). The Smart Faucet does everything the video and write-ups say it will do. It is easy to install-only takes a few minutes and much less expensive than buying a new faucet. Works very easily. I recommend it to anyone who has arthritis in their hands or anyone who has a pet who drinks from the faucet. Cats should be able to learn how to get a drink on their own and when they are done, the water will stop!!!

Design flaw.
This has a design flaw. When you lock it on, it partially closes then causes ferocious chattering in the plumbing. It could be overcome by adding a small rubber washer, but overall it's not worth the price. Returning it.

I love that i am saving water too
Has really given me peace of mind that I won't come home to find that my father-in-law has left the kitchen sink on again. And though that was always my main reason for purchasing this, I love that i am saving water too. I am giving it 4 stars because the part that allows you to click it over so that it has continuous water flow, is a little tricky and takes me a few tries before it engages. I think this device is better for bathrooms so it would be nice if they come up with something a little bit better for the kitchen sink but I still prefer it over risking our house getting flooded by an absent-minded elderly person.
