Proudest moments of this amazing band
Beginning with Songs from the Big Chair , I've had each TFF album on release date (yup, even Saturnine and Raoul ), so I've followed their pop singles, "their" post-breakup work , and their reunion piece . This is a dynamic band that's so much bigger and more talented than jus their "Shout" fame, and since its release in 1992, this has been my go-to album to introduce people to Curt and Roland. That said, it's been 23 years since this album came out, and 14 years since the last remaster, meaning Tears Roll Down is still clinging to 256kb sound. By contrast, the standard now is a 320kb sample. For the average listener on an average system, there won't be much noticeable difference, but for audiophiles it's a little disappointing, especially for a band that built its entire reputation on brilliant instrumentals paired back to pitch-perfect vocals. For newcomers to TFF, there are several different "greatest hits" options. Like I said, I think the breadth of this collection is the best sampler of their iconic years, but this is the album that uses the 2001 remasters, making it better sound quality than Best of... or Shout:The Very Best of... . There's an interesting compilation from 2010 called Mad World which has each of their singles AND the corresponding B-side, giving a snapshot of the band's growth and some collectible songs that are challenging to find elsewhere. However Mad World also blends TFF's top-shelf songs with some less-amazing tracks (don't get me wrong, "less-amazing" for TFF is still better than most bands' very best), making it a roller coaster to listen to.By contrast, Tears Roll Down encompasses just The Hurting through Seeds of Love when the collaboration was at its peak and gives the proudest moments - on and off the charts - of this amazing band.

Hits Roll Down
This is a really good album in which in its time before all the later "Best Of" releases made this obsolete. So really, it is a good record. There is a added CD to the special edition that contain remixes but really, not the big attraction here. check the album out but remember there are other releases with more of a selection of tracks on it. Still it is packed with real good songs. Check out my website sometime and google "judemac Forever".
