Tasty
I followed the advice of another reviewer and added these to a salad of cucumber and chives. Very tasty, but even better with a splash of Myer’s lemon juice.

Fun for Spanish class
The students love having the opportunity to try this unique "Day of the Dead" food. These are high quality, they come well preserved. My only critique is that the flavor is odd to the American palate. The mix of salt, lime, garlic and chile is not spicy/picante, but still strong and students will be unaccustomed to it. Having said that, the joy of getting to eat an insect under the guise of authentic cuisine is worth it. They love "snapping" the experience and sharing it with their friends and family. Other students stop by during the day to see if they can try one too.

Buy them
Totally get them. Whether as a fancy garnish for your favorite Oaxacan cocktail or popping them like chips. They pair perfectly with your favorite tequila or mezcal. Personally I like it with a la Gritona or Tapatio tequila or a montelobos mezcal. Also goes very well with Texas Sotol. If you don’t drinks and want something to pair them with, soda and bitters is great with a little lime, or a spicy ginger beer or tepache pairs great with these and some tomatoes or guacamole. Definitely get them. Deliciously citrusy and smokey with just enough crunch.

Locusts (grasshoppers) & Honey
We’re hosting viewings of The Chosen (the tv series about Jesus’ ministry) at our church and served this product along with honey as a John the Baptist inspired “themed snack”! It was a huge hit even though only 30% or so of the group sampled them! They are on the salty/spicy side but several people liked them.

Fresh, plump, delicious.
Delicious and fresh, legs are mostly removed. This is going to be my go-to going forward, hopefully quality stays the same.Since they are dry, they could be crushed up and used as seasoning for tostadas or tacos, or anything really… I just thought about pizza seasoning… Wow.

The best!
I love these! Flavor is great and because they come in a plastic jar, but a baggie, they are intact and not a bunch of crumbs! I've never been excited to eat a bug until trying these.
