EelVision Underwater Filters for GoPro HERO4 HERO3/3+ (2 Pack: Red + Snorkeling) / Scuba Diving/Snorkel/Underwater Color Correction

I posted a review of the product before - and it was not a stellar review as I felt that the way the product was "portrayed" in the ad was not a good representation of this product, and I stand by what I stated before - it is a small insert, and EelVision does indicate this, but not very clearly. I did give the product a chance, and the performance was good - although, because of it's design, one must be careful of the placement of the filter and make sure that it is covering the lens.The color correction was good - and it worked as stated.The drawback of this product is that it can't be removed unless you open the housing, which if you are coming out of the water and wanted to capture anything on the surface you will either have a red tint to everything and need to color correct when you are at your computer (video can be tricky to color correct consistently) or you open the housing and risk damaging the camera, or losing the very small piece of filament)

I was a little dissappointed that it is just a little thin piece of plastic about the size of a nickle. Do not care for the "application process", meaning: placing it on the inside of the dive housing and then putting your gopro on it. It would have been worth the extra few dollars and get the snap on filters. Other than that, it does what it does.

Good but a bit disappointed in the quality, I thought it would be more robust not just a plastic circle - let's test and see if lasts...

While these filters do provide color correction, they are not practical because you have to take the camera out to change the filter.

Not too bad, but you can go to an art store and buy your own red/pink film for your camera. I did use it scuba diving and the footage came out all right, but you pay too much for 2 tiny circles of film when you can easily DIY.

Wow, these little filters made my scuba video in hawaii look incredible. The packaging is not impressive, they come in a little plastic bag with a piece of paper and that's it; needless to say I wasn't very impressed with this. However, the video I've recorded using them is phenomenal and I can't complain at all. If you're going to be taking video on your GoPro underwater, definitely use these!!! I had no issue installing them, they stayed put once installed; overall they are great!

They are a bit expensive, but I found them to be worth it. I was able to take some great photos and videos with these filters.Never had a problem with damaging them either. Very easy to install.They will change the color of your photos out of the water, but if you know that ahead of time, its fine. The pink one wasn't too bad out of the water.

I was excited to get this in the mail, but was disappointed to find a cheap, small piece of film you just stick into the inside of the housing. Don't skimp, get the snap-on.
