Ding. Ding. Ding. Here comes the food!
Knowing that getting your product to the right customers is not always easily done, but living in southern California, mobile catering services are an essential part of the society. From a hot dog cart on a freeway exit ramp, that later evolved into Carl's Jr., to the ice cream truck dinging its bells in the twilight of a warm evening, the 'sound of food' cant be ignored. This book, although short, was concise and to the point. Mobile businesses are a growing part of our culture, and this helpful information can get you started. Good luck!

Truly is the Definitive Guide.
Book does exactly as promised. My dad had an idea to open up a business with a food truck and he really had to go by what people told him. There aren't a lot resources for it out there. This book breaks down everything from creative ways to raise money to buy a food truck, to the licenses you need to get started. Lots of marketing tips and other beneficial ways to get off the ground.

Useless.
Useless. .. This is not a definitive guide by any means. It's nothing but generalities and obvious statements written in the style of a children's book, but for someone wanting to start a business. I read it in less than an hour. It is more like a vaguely informative pamphlet that a "definitive guide to starting a food truck business"

Very Thorough
This book is a great resource to guide people on anything and everything that need to know about the Food Truck Business. I also like the chapter on marketing, a real outside-the- truck aspect of this but very important.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY - Do Not Buy It
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY - Do Not Buy It !!!Firstly, the listing does not make clear that this publication is aimed at the American market. As a result, the book refers to all the legislation for the American truck operator and even then the information contained within is so basic, if you've half a brain cell then you already know it.Secondly, the printing is just shocking and none of the pages are numbered, even though the index at the front refers to page numbers.Thirdly, the print layout is just awful - there will be a full page of text on one page then a line of text on the next one. My five year old could do a better job with the page layout as this publisher has done.Forth. The listing States 32 pages, which is a slim book in itself, but mine has just 17 and even some of these are not printed on both sides.Fifth, where have all the five star reviews come from, hmmm I suspect a set up here.Absolute waste of money, the worst purchase I have made in all my 10 plus years of shopping on Amazon.Final piece of advice - DO NOT BUY !! Get your fiver and throw it out of the car window instead, you'll get far more joy watching the passers by get a fiver for nothing, just like these guys have !!!

Unbelievably poor, the phrase "that food truck business of yours" ...
Unbelievably poor, the phrase "that food truck business of yours" is repeated again and again. It is very short, about 45 minutes to read start to finish and gives the impression it was cut and past from a very basic website, it isnt even properly formatted and is riddled with spelling mistakes even on the cover!
