This frame was for some older family photos so it worked great for that. The reason for 4 stars is that on the back when you go to hang it I had to cut the command strips in half long ways because the part of the frame was to skinny. If you are hanging with nails you will be fine but for me and for a lot of others they can not or do not want to put nails and holes in the wall so command strips are great but this frame does not take that into account.

I've lived in my house almost 3 years and have done a really horrible job of making it feel "like a home". Over the past month or so I've been trying to add some decorations to make it more homey and personal without breaking the bank. While I like standing picture frames, I don't have a lot of space to put them and I'm not sure what's going on in the stores these days but a lot of the ones I've found are plain and boring. I found this frame and saw all the great reviews so I bought three (yes, 3) and following some of the other reviewers got my Instagram photos printed at Walgreens. I knew the second the frames arrived I was going to love them! The white matte gives each picture a nice separation and makes them pop. I put the photos in the frames today and can't wait to hang them. When I loved to South Carolina I left my brothers and parents back in Virginia (plus all of my extended family in Ohio) and it is going to be so great to have them displayed in my house.Bottom line - definitely recommend! Also, if you have a Walgreens, the photo service and quality of my prints was great and SUPER fast!

I think this is a good quality product overall but I can't give it 5 stars because the description is misleading. The individual slots are NOT 4"x4", they are only 3.5"x3.5". Especially for small photos that .5" makes a big difference. Please update your description.

I like this picture frame, but it was very hard to get the pictures inside and put it back together without getting little bits of wood and debris caught under the glass. It wasn't from my fingers because I wore latex gloves and used a microfiber cloth to clean the glass. The frame has a lot of debris where it is not finished on the inside that is hidden. But no matter how much I tried to wipe it away, more would fall in when putting it all together. I would recommend that the manufacturer use a clear coat on the inside for a cleaner assembly. I was going nuts wiping the inside of the frame and trying to keep the glass clean.

Pros:- Decent frame for the price.- 4"x4" is a great size for instagram photos taken with a smartphone.Cons:- Nothing holds the photos in place or aligns them. You have to adjust them on the flat glass surface and attempt to align them from the back, while continuously checking how they appear on the front. And the border isn't the same for every photo.- Although you can fit nine 4x4 photos in the frame, the border around each photo obscures 0.5"x0.5" (only 3.5"x3.5" of each photo is visible). Losing a half inch around a four inch photo, is quite a lot...I wish I could fine a frame that actually displays entire 4x4 photos... This would be a 4 star product at $10, but I'm sure there are frames without the aforementioned issues for around the same price as this one.

Openings are not 4 inches.I ordered this for my son's Zentangle tiles (and thought I would have a tiny bit of space in each opening). The description states that the openings measure 4 inches. That is incorrect. Each opening measures3.5 inches. BUT it fits 9 Zentangle tiles perfectly. I chose that I love this product because it met my needs. However, if you are in need of 4 inch openings, it will be a tad small.The black frame and inner mat are high quality and the backing has multiple hanging options.I had to order a replacement because the first one came shattered because of poor UPS handling. Amazon replaced it very quickly and provided hassle free options for returning the broken one.

This was perfect for my hobby. I draw Tangle Art which is drawn on 4" X 4" tiles. I have friends that have asked me for a collage of some of my drawings, but I just couldn't put it all together. Then, I saw this frame and knew it was exactly what I needed. I have put together 3 of these as gifts for some of my friends. I have shown it to others and they have fell in love with the look. I now own 4 of these and will probably order more as my friends increase as I love to display my "Art".JoySeabrook, TX

This is such a great frame for the price. I recently did 9-month pictures for my baby, as well as several family photos and I wanted a way to display all of them together. I ordered 4x4 prints from Walgreens for under $5 and they look great in the frame. I think I'll be buying more of these for the future, so I can put Instagram photos in and use them as gifts. One small thing, the black sides of the frame seem to release a lot of black dust flecks and it's hard to remove all of them from the inside of the frame. Other than that, it's great.

The frame and quality is good, however the "4x4" is a bit misleading. The 4x4 size is for the pictures that are underneath. The white cardboard dividers that go over the pictures brings the size of the pictures down. So unfortunately, if you take a 4x6 picture (cutting the last 2 inches off, as we did), it won't fit in the open space, which seems a little illogical. The white borders cover some of the picture. So for that, it was really disappointing because we went through the effort of editing each picture to fit exactly 4x4, send the pictures in, and then we had to reprint them because they didn't fit inside the square properly :(Having said that, I would order this frame again, knowing to adjust the size first.

I made my friends some really great and personal presents with this and they looked great. It came in good condition

This is a perfect frame for 13"x13" mandalas, just take the bars out. I was so happy to find a frame the right size.
