SmartKidsID Child ID/Medical ID Shoe TAG! No Engraving, no Membership! Unlimited Editing! (Pink)

I wrote a good review on this item when I received it but after having it for only a couple weeks I have to change my review. The words on it have already rubbed off for the QR code and the ID code. so the only thing that is still legible is the SmartKidsID website name on it. The actual Individual Identification ID that is used to help identify the child and their information by either typing into the website or giving to their helpline number, has already rubbed off, along with the helpline number. So now the tag is completely useless. Also it's really a lot smaller than I expected. It's about the size of my finger in width and length. It really is a shame because the idea of this product is great. But if no one is able to read the ID or scan the QR code that's needed to help identify the child so he can be returned safely and so that I can be sent the location when someone does enter the ID code into their website or scan the QR code, then we can't even use the tag at all. However, the website is still available for me to use for free. So if I create a more durable Tag myself, with the ID on it, then it will be great. But I totally waisted my money on this tag and shipping when I could have used that money to buy a more durable item in the first place. For the safety of your child, don't expect this to do the job on its own. Like I said, the ID code they give you and the free use of the site and helpline number is great, but you'll have to some how put the info that's on this junky tag, onto something better for it to be useful or helpful in keeping your child safe if they ever do end up wandering off. I hope this review is helpful for anyone looking for a way to keep track of their kiddo.

I'm the mom of two young kids, and one, in particular, loves to run off at high speed without warning. I got both the bracelet and the shoe tag, but the shoe tag works especially well for my "strong-willed" child who has some sensory issues and probably wouldn't tolerate a bracelet. This product appears well-made and durable, and the price can't be beat. I considered similar engravable and disposable products, but this is the same price (or, actually, less expensive) as those, and the QR Code technology lets me add, change and update a whole wealth of information any time I want to. I can include much more info than I'd be able to include on a disposable or engravable bracelet. That's what made this product stand out to me above the other options. With unlimited editing and updating of ID, emergency contact, and medical alert information and no membership, storage, or renewal fees, I decided this product is not only ingenius, but really the best value for my money! I'm so glad the peace of mind this affords me when we're out in crowds, and I'm probably going to give a few of these for gifts as well!

We bought this to put on my daughter's shoe for our trip to Disney World. It was easy to register online and fight on her shoe laces with no problem. Highly recommend.

My daughter wore this tag daily for a month and the qr code completely rubbed off the shoe tag so it can't be scanned anymore.

had nothing but trouble from the beginning. Number given with the product did not register. Attempted customer support and was told they had no one that could assist me and they would get back to me at another time. when I scanned the qr code after setting up a profile it required a log in and it kept kicking me back out. Too many problems, lost my confidence in this product.

This is great. It's small enough to keep in a pocket in my purse (since I seem to either forgetting to bring the bracelet or doing things spontaneously).
