1/18 USAF F-86F Sabre Jet Maj J. Jabara 1953

This is a very nice addition to any collector, wonderful detail inside and out, from movable surfaces, retractable landing gear to the detail cockpit.the one thing about this model, is that it doesn't come with a pilot figure , so you will have to get your own pilot, any 3 3/4" will fit in the cockpit, any GI JOE pilot figure goes well with this plane. This aircraft made it's appearance in the KOREAN WAR, fighting against the RUSSIAN MIG 15.If you're planning on getting this model, I recommend the MIG 15 too, they belong together, two wonderful machines from the KOREAN WAR , which represent the History in aviation and jet powered aircraft.

Excellent quality and great product. Goes well with the 1/18 MiG. I just wished it came with a pilot like the MiG.

Indeed, this is an impressive model - BUT, for Euro 120.00 (or even more when bought from other sellers) I expect a clear and brilliant canopy glass! The clear parts of this model are exactly as they appear in the image that can be seen here - it's a milky and poor material! What a disappointment! This destroys the overall impression of this model! Very sad.Dies wäre ein super Model, wenn nicht die Cockpitverglasung eine totale Katastrophe wäre! Die Klarsichteile sind milchig - etwas, was ich bei einem Modell für weit über 100 Euro nicht erwarten würde. Sowas muss in der heutigen Zeit nicht sein, da muss man keine derart schlechten Kunststoff verwenden. Einwandfrei Klarsichtteile bieten selbst Modelle für ganz kleines Geld. Sehr frustrierend - das verschandelt leider den ansonsten akzeptablen Gesamteindruck dieses Models.
