The most comfortable 5 gal. hard plastic bucket seat I've used
I've owned five different five gal. bucket seats. Two were padded (but flat) and not comfortable. Three were hard (no padding like this seat) with various curved shapes for the seat. This seat/lid is the most comfortable of the five seats for my body type (6' 185lbs). It just has a great seat shape. I also like the way it fits into the bucket (as a lid). It is much easier to take on and off than all the others (and I'm constantly taking it off and putting it on to access the stuff I'm carrying in the bucket. The other lids snapped on top of the bucket as a lid and were much more difficult to snap off, access my tools inside, and put the seat back on. The only downside of the ease of putting on and taking off this seat is that since it doesn't snap on, it will fall off if the bucket gets tipped over.

Stupid paper labels stuck on.
Ugh, you peel the label off and a bunch of paper sticks to the bucket lid :( Worse than buying new windows for your house. Who uses annoying labels like this these days!Other than that it seems to be a decent bucket lid / cushion .

Well designed
These are lightweight, well shaped, fit well, sturdy and comfortable!!I bought a 2nd one and will likely get a couple more. Tried some others and these blow them out of the park!

Worked until...
I had this for a while, until it was run over with a scissor lift. If there are scissor lifts that are tired in the area, be sure to tell them this seat will not support their weight.

Nice seat for sitting on while mixing mud.
I am a old drywall finisher (77) and can't squat or kneel anymore so it is nice to take a seat while mixing mud or maybe even finishing around electrical box's. I also have a seat on wheels that allows me to go down the wall while working not having to get up. Harbor Freight nice stool with wheels.

Perfect fit!
Got a few of these for my husband do he has a bucket and seat whenever he needs one. I’ve scattered a few buckets around the yard so he’s got a place to sit - if he’s working and needs to catch his breath. Great concept!

Comfort for the yard!
This is a simple concept, but well thought out. Using it on a 5 gallon bucket and it doesn't move or shift. Stays in place and allows to still use bucket. Plastic so its easy to clean. Enjoy it as an extra with my bucket organizer.

Label adhesive is a sticky mess
Peeled the label off the seat but the paper and the adhesive stayed. I used goo-gone, then soap, then goo-gone, then finally carb cleaner 3 times and got it off. I have never seen anything like it.

Fits perfectly.
This item fits my 5 gallon bucket with a Bucket Boss tool organizer perfectly. I was concerned that the thickness of the material would make the fit too tight, but evidently this is taken into consideration. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the seat is pretty hard, so not sure how comfortable it will be if sat on for an extended period, thus the 4-star rating instead of 5.

Was great for so long, and then the heat kicked in
I do construction inspections and I spend a lot of time waiting around for things to happen, so i got this to spend some of that time upon. It was great! most comfortable bucket top i had found, and I tried literally them all (yes literally, various pop top lids, gamma seal lids, padded seats, etc.). This really was by far the most comfortable, until we started hitting nearly 100 degree temps for weeks straight. The sonic welded seams started to separate and the seat deform. Now i'm a very big boy, so i imagine others wont have the same issue. But just know, under enough heat and pressure these will deform.

Great fit!
Originally bought one of those swivel snap on bucket lid seats and it didn't fit. Got this one and it's perfect! It doesn't look comfy but surprisingly is.

It's all plastic. I was expecting a cushion.
I'm sure it was my fault and the description said it was plastic. I was just a little surprised the seat had no cushion. That said it does fit correctly (even with the tool caddy) and it is comfortable to sit on for short periods. Also I guess I don't have to worry about it getting wet.
