Exciting and encouraging way to learn sight words!
Shocked, and pleasantly surprised by how incredibly fun and easy this makes learning sight words! There are so many inexpensive games and activities out there, and we have tried a couple of them. I can confidently say this is worth every penny. I love how it builds upon itself, reinforcing the words every step of the way. Our 4 year old enjoys playing the memory game and is very proud of himself when he masters a level. He gets SO excited that he can read sentences, which just encourages him to learn more words so that he can read a whole book. He learned the first set of 5 words within two times of playing the memory game. By the third time we played it it was easy for him and he was ready to move onto the second set. This whole system makes him excited to learn sight words and keeps his attention. I highly recommend The Reading Game!

Great Resource for Struggling Readers.
I used this with my 2nd graders during my teacher-led reading groups. The students loved it! I also used the sight words as a memory game during independent center time. This game is a big hit with my students 😍.

Truly useful reading game
My kid is five years old and English is our second language. I found this kit very useful and my son is able to read 90% of the first book all by himself in just one week.

Fun Reading Game
This is an excellent literacy game for children to play to become familiar with simple high frequency words. It has a fun way to review words that children should be familiar with. I think that before playing the memory game it is important that the students know the words. Having a book that uses all the words just learned makes the learning meaningful. Having unusual words such as snake, skunk and stripe, make the learning fun.

No "game" about it
It's reading books with flash cards. 6 books are nicely illustrated, but not worth the price.

Fun reading tool
I got this for my 3rd son to use the year before Kindergarten. His older brothers had really struggled learning to read and I wanted to try something different with him. He really enjoyed the Reading Game and would even request to play it. He is now in Kindergarten and well above grade level in reading. It really gave him a good head start in reading instead of getting frustrated. I wish I had known about this with my older boys!

Very helpful game!
Really helpful and easy solution to kids dragging when it comes to learning sight words. It makes it almost impossible not to learn them if you follow this game plan.
