Although this item is a cheap plastic box & I do have to squish in my tissues, I love this box because it is beautifully decorated & goes with my household decor.

The first one I ordered arrived broken in several places. The second lasted all of two months - standing motionless and rarely touched on my nightstand - before one of the legs cracked off. Looks cute though.

I am so pleased with this purchase. If you are a fan of the Victorian/vintage look you will be very happy with this box. The lid is magnetic keeling it from falling off when getting tissues. The box itself is thin but unless you plan to bang it into things this isn’t an issue.

Very pretty, but the gold color is kinda over-done. Much smaller than I thought it would be, the Kleenex box will not fit in at all, so I had to take all of the tissues out and cram them in the holder. This took a bit of time, and then I discovered that there were too many tissues for the top of the holder, even though it's magnitized. So I set the top on top of the tissues, and it moves everytime I take a tissue out. Might have to tape it together. Luckely it arrived all intact, because other people reviewed that they got it with legs broken off. That wouldn't surprise me. I'm decorating with a Victorian theme, and this works for that, but I'm sorry to say, it's cheapo.

Got this because I like antique looking things and wanted something to store tissues with having the plain box. Does look plastic though and I wish the “gold color” was less yellow and more golden. I can understand the cheap looking appearance some people mentioned in other reviews. Overall nice though!

This is perfect for my bathroom. It goes well with the grey and peach tones on my bathroom. The item wasn't broken. It refills easily.

Way to expensive for what you get. Disappointed. It looks metal but it’s cheap plastic.
