I bought these for my motorcycle, because people in their cars cum me on the road and it is very unpleasant, let alone the danger. These are BRIGHT. And i don't mean just visible. These are BRIGHT and i hope that even those that text and drive will see me.After i received them, I left the lights on till full battery discharge and they stayed on way longer that i will be on the road between charges. The charging took very short time and they are ready to go. The lights came with rubber and Velcro holder, very thoughtful.I've purchased from Magnus Innovations before and contacted their customer service in a few occasions. The products and the customer service are outstanding.Thank you, Magnus Innovations.

Great build quality, price point, and performance
I'm a big fan of Magnus Products. The build quality has been uniformly outstanding. This little unit is no exception with a lower price point to boot. Just to be clear, I'm reviewing the S100 Bike Light, Powerful 100 Lumen White front headlight, NOT the red tail light. This is a bit confusing, as descriptions use the words tail light. Even the box this light came in says tail light. Be sure you are getting the red if you want red.Be sure to get the right light for your type of riding. I ride exclusively in urban settings, so a brighter beam headlight is not useful. In fact, overly bright headlights can blind oncoming traffic/bikes and make it harder to judge your position. I use headlights as a way of being noticed and to provide some road illumination. That said, I love the brightness/strobe options, which are perfect for my needs. I especially like the waterproofing. I've had other similar lights go bad in a downpour. the unit is sealed well and the usb port rubber stopper is much better than others' I've had. That said, the double insurance of a little waterproof electrical tape over the port provides me with absolute peace of mind. This is an especially good hack if for some reason you lose a rubber stopper. One caveat, easily remedied with a little DIY. I need to take the light off when parking in the city. This has resulted in scratches due to the hard plastic clip that rests against the handlebars/seat post. I attach a little Moleskin and then have a super-smooth contact between the light and the frame. The strong stretchy rubber fastener keeps it firmly in place.I did get the light on special offer of $8 in exchange for the review. Hope this is useful!

Decent secondary light w/ flexible usage
I like the flexibility the light offers, since I can put it on my bike or use the clip to attach it to my clothing, etc. So I've even used it camping. But for biking, its a bit dim/diffuse to use for a forward light, so it works better as a secondary or blinking light on a seat post or handlebars. It came with a small stretch band that the instructions claim can be used to attach to a helmet, though its unclear how that would be done. In fact, my main issue with the product was the instructions themselves. Not very clear or well designed, and I had some initial difficulty figuring out how to properly attach the light to my bike using its rubber stretch mount. I haven't used it enough to know how well it keeps its charge, but so far so good.

Bright Lights, Big Quality -- S100 Headlight from Always-Reliable Magnus Gear
The S100 Headlight: Yet another GREAT product from the team at Magnus Gear. I already own two headlights and I was the proud owner of a tail light, but a thief -- clearly an individual who knew a great thing when he saw it -- swiped it when I heedlessly left it on. Silly of me, as the clever rubber strap is easy and quick to remove and replace. It's the same strap the S100 headlight uses. Like my other Magnus gear, the S100 head light recharges via a USB cord that attaches to a very well-designed recessed USB port covered with a secure rubber gasket to protect it from weather. The power button also cycles the bright LEDs through several choices of steady or flashing light. Waterproof, solidly made, reliably high quality -- absolutely everything I expect from this company. Note: Demand must be really high for this product, as the one I received came with a packaging insert for the S100 Tail Light. All the instructions and operations are identical, so no harm, no foul, but I expect they're rushing to get these out the door as fast as word spreads of just how superior a product it is.

Solid, affordable light to be seen
This light was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It's affordable, bright enough to be seen during the day, and offers some great versatility. There are three different flash modes/speeds and three different levels of brightness to suit your situation. I did knock off one star because using the clip by itself (without the rubber straps) didn't hold the light in place as well as I would've liked. I purchased the red version of this as well and attached it to my saddle bag via the loop on the back. If you're riding over perfectly smooth surfaces, it'll stay in place with just the clip but if you hit any good size bumps, the light will come off. I had to stop 4 times on one ride to turn around and pick up my light off the ground. The good news though is that the light still kept going! It still worked and suffered only a few scrapes! So if you're planning on just using the clip, I'd make sure it is good and tight without putting too much pressure on the clip that it will snap. In regards to the battery life, I can only say that I generally go on rides that will last a maximum of 4 hours and these lights had plenty of juice to spare afterwards. Lastly, I would only use this light to be seen as I do not think the brightness is sufficient to navigate with in the dark. I don't do much night riding so it works for me. I'd definitely recommend it for the price!
