Perfect! They do need to be flattened out before using but so perfect and easy to clean!

These placemats are beautiful and sturdy. I used them for Christmas and received compliments from everyone. They were also very easy to clean. I highly recommend them.

Love the mats but the stains (red pasta sauce,curry) won’t come out.

They look beautiful but are not functional. They stain easily and do not clean easily. If you need to be able to use your placemats these are not the ones.

Good quality but the tiny holes let everything through. What's the point?

I was expecting a true black because the product images show a very dark black, these are not even close to that dark. I was very disappointed in the coloring at first, but they do look good with my white plates and silverware. I have never used place mats, it was not a thing in our house growing up. My fiance’s Family uses them though, so I bought these for thanksgiving this year. Trying to spruce up the table and make it more similar to how theirs are. Had they not turned out looking quite pleasant under the white plates, I might have deducted a star. So word of caution, use the images the reviews are posting to decide your color. The first two images in line are the correct way, showing the dark side and the second photos are the Mat flipped over.Also, they come rolled up and it’s quite hard to get them to stop rolling up at the corners.

These placemats are awful. The colour/pattern itself is nice and I ordered these because they would be easy to wipe clean after every meal. Because of the material they are very smooth (despite being ‘woven’ and slide wildly all over my table while in use. Yes, they absolutely are wipeable. However, after using my set one time in a very typical and not at all interesting way they were stained beyond recovery even though they were wiped and washed immediately after we finished eating. They look like garbage now despite being brand new. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Very very flimsy. Very see-through and wide weave. Sweat from my glass of water went right through onto my wooden table. Didn't even want to try placing a hot item on top of this placement as I feel it would have steamed the surface of my wooden table. Will not be keeping these.

These are excellent placemats that are both decorative and durable. Also, one of few six-piece sets available!
