I love this little gadget. You can pull it out for what ever length you need. You can remove the container with the strap if you don't want it in the way. I'm using it on a door frame at the floor to keep my robot vacuum from going into another part of my house. It works great for this. Easy to install. Easy to retract and remove.

I like that this retractable wall barrier can be removed and replaced from the wall with the click of a button. I wish this version came in a length greater than 6.5 feet. I ordered two. One site was 6 foot wide so it worked like a charm, the other--I neglected to measure before installing--was 7 feet wide so it didn't work for me. I ordered the non-removable version that is 11 feet long and it is working great.

This item performs as described. Decent quality and easy to use. The retractable part locks in with an easy release but the other end doesn’t lock in. Easily retracts and stays in place

I work at a hunting lodge and due to the election not being over yet we have to take all of these Covid-19 precautions. So no one is allowed in the kitchen and I used them to block off the kitchen from guests. It works great and ppl can still see in the kitchen unlike one of those temporary wall things.
