Vytex 100% Natural Latex Topper Firm - Full 2 Inch Collection The Only Virtually Allergy Free Latex - Firm - Full 2 Inch

I am very familiar with latex, both dunlop and talalay process. Though Vytex has a bit less odor than "real" latex, it does not have the familiar bouncy, springy feel that latex has (talalay is a bit springier than dunlop).A stack of three of these toppers should have made a nice latex bed. Instead it feels like an old worn out mattress or a thick pile of old blankets. Nothing like any latex mattress I've owned, slept on, or tried in a store. Or any new mattress of any kind! Don't know what they take out of the rubber during the Vytex process but it ruins the feel completely.I should have paid more attention to all the red flags. The super soft's description says 14 ILD, further down it's claimed to be 19 ILD (the supposed ILD of the regular soft.) Yet, when questioned about ILDs Vytex says that "ILD is only used for product that is "not natural" or blended. Natural Latex only uses density K." and "If you see ILD it's a good bet its blended or synthetic." Not true. While density is often listed, almost all manufacturers of 100% Natural Latex either tell you the ILD upfront or will do so when asked.Also, there's a big "Made in the USA" banner. Yet the toppers are stamped "Made in Vietnam by Lien A." There are many inconsistencies between their descriptions and answers to questions but I hoped this was just someone not paying attention and ordered anyway. Should've known better and gone with a reputable supplier but I wanted low odor latex that wouldn't have to air out before I could sleep on it.Lastly, they claim "easy returns." There is no option via Amazon to have the boxes picked up - drop-off at UPS only. The boxes are so large that I can't fit even one into my car, and they weight 50 lbs each! I am now exchanging emails through Amazon trying to get Vytex to send me prepaid shipping labels. I refuse to borrow a truck to take these to UPS.I have since bought latex toppers from a good supplier, Mayer's Bedding, who of course lists ILDs for both their 100% Natural and their blended (semi-synthetic) talalay latex which they buy from Talalay Global, the largest manufacturer of talalay latex in the world. These make an excellent mattress which should last a very long time.

I am extremely happy with this purchase - we have been trying/purchasing all kinds of mattress toppers to adjust the firmness on our new extra-firm mattress we bought. I initially bought two different thickness of memory foam thinking it would replicate my previous Simmons Beautyrest extra-firm mattress I had had in the past 10 years, which I believed had about two different layers of memory foam built into it. However, even the 1" memory form was too soft and the sink-in feeling was very uncomfortable, so we had to return them. When I came across this latex foam, I was hesitant to purchase initially, especially given the price, but when we received the topper and slept on it for the first night, it was exactly what we have been looking for - comfortable, breathable, firm yet enough cushion to alleviate some of the pressure points on my body. We are so happy for this purchase!

Bought this not-quite-firm topper to put on a hospital mattress that felt like sleeping on bricks. Also needed hypoallergenic because I woke up every morning with my nose stuffed up. Lastly, I wanted to stop pain. This 1” topper does it all.

Improved my memory foam mattress which had been bothering my back. I bought the firm and it has helped notably. I would prefer it to be firmer, but I do not regret the purchase.

I just love this latex topper. It is a totally different feel from memory foam in that it is buyont, yet very supportive. No "sink in" feeling. It sleeps cool and has little or no odor. Once covered by your sheets and mattress pad, you cannot smell anything. A wonderful addition to bedding. Would recommend.

Removed all the material above the springs on my old mattress, replaced it with the 3 inch latex and a mattress cover. Now it is like a brand-new mattress and has saved a ton of money :-)

Firm mattress topper was super soft. I just sank in. It supposed to give extra support and it totally suck. The most important thing was that this topper was producing terrible toxic odors. My glances even get swollen, it means my organism couldn't stand this chemicals.

My sleeping is now so comfortable since I bought the Vytex 100% Natural Latex Topper! Money well spent! Wish I had made this purchase sooner.

This mattress topper is superb. I usually wake up with an aching back every night from any bed that I sleep on. I bought this to put on an extremely old, saggy mattress and wow! I'm very impressed. No rubber smell like some have mentioned. I bought 2" firm and it's still nice and cushioned and not rock solid hard. I also bought there pillow. And same thing, my neck has not hurt once. It's been 2 weeks of continuous sleep.

Their size is not accurate and when you request for refund, they suggest you to cut it by yourself.
