OMCreate Battery Compatible with Dell Latitude E5410 E5500 E5400 E5510 Series, fits P/N KM742 WU841 T749D

I have an old Dell Latitude (E5500, I believe), that I bought used and only use to run my embroidery design software and transfer designs to my machine. I am a Mac woman for day-to-day and financial tasks. The battery that came with the computer would now longer hold a charge. As I only paid around $120 for the computer, I wasn't willing to pay much for a battery. This does the trick. I ran the battery through the charge and discharge cycles three or more times as the directions instructed. It now lasts about 2 hours. I keep the screen at full brightness so I can see what I am doing, so the battery can't be expected to last for long.If you need an inexpensive battery replacement for an old Latitude, this is a good choice. I can't compare battery charge length to the original because I have no frame of reference. It doesn't seem to last as long as my Mac but they are two different beasts that I use to perform different tasks.

Installed in E5510. Worked great at first, at least a couple hours of runtime. Gradually started decreasing.We've had it 17 months now, and runtime is down to about 40 minutes. We keep it plugged in all the time (I know that's not ideal, but it meets our usage needs). About half the time we reach for the laptop to use it, we unplug it. The other 1/2 is used plugged in.For the price we paid, I'm very content. I figure it cost me about one dollar a month which is good.

Followed all directions to get better battery life out of this.After a few months, durability got less and less.Never lasted more than an hour, than half an hour, now it's down to holding a charge maybe 5 minutes!I emailed the seller, and they did refund my money.That's the only reason for one star, otherwise no stars!!Highly NOT recommended.

The battery charged and worked but when using the battery on ac power my laptop would randomly shutdown. I exchanged the first battery for another one and it did the same thing. I still have an old battery that has a short life but it works fine when plugged in.

This battery functions as intended. Battery life seems very good. Satisfied with my purchase...

This is an economical battery, it does the job, lasts about an hour and 10 minuets on a full charge, unplugged. The battery I had was so old it wouldn't hold a charge for 10 mins so I am thrilled with this one. Would buy again.

Holds a charge nicely. Smaller mAh than I would have liked, but haven't really noticed the difference while using it.
