Tronolane Dual Action Anesthetic Cream For Hemorrhoids (1 Oz)

To start, I've had 1 large hemorrhoid that has bothered me (in a minor way) since pregnancy & childbirth 35+ years ago. It never bothered me enough to need more than Tuck's. However, I'm now receiving chemotherapy for Colon cancer & my main, miserable side effect is diarrhea😒 Over the past months, every (frequent) BM has brought tears to my eyes! I have tried all preperations available locally, without any relief. This is the WORST SYMPTOM I have, related to cancer. Finally, I went thru the products on Amazon, finding most of them not to be much more than would be used on a baby's diaper rash... I ordered the Trololane (among other items) After I rec'd it, The next BM (hadnt started Trololane) was tortuous! Afterwards, I rinsed with a little bottle that sprays water out when squeezed & further cleansed & patted dry. I applied a very small amount of Trololane by applying a small line of it on a Tuck's pad, then pressed the Trololane to my area of pain. What a relef! This product numbs the area for a while, maybe an hr or 2, but by then, I have another BM & repeat the process described above again with instant relief. tho no help for pain during BM. I applied again before bed for the night. I was really impressed the next a.m. as having the BM was not as extremely painful. No tears in my eyes. Will continue with this product, checking w/ my Oncologist to see how long I can use this awesome product. BTW, yes, I've used every medication available for diarrhea even including an IV med they give with the chemo & nothing helps. So, for now, I'll keep using the Trololane & will try to update this after a while. If you have painful hemorrhoids, buy this now! It arrived quickly, thanks to Prime. Please do not stop selling this! I'll order another tube soon, to prevent running out. Oh! It takes only a tiny bit for pain relief & must have some healing property or I wouldn't have noticed a difference in pain on 2nd day. Highly recommend!

Soothes the pain and helps the irritation. Doesn’t do anything to reduce swelling or stop bleeding. If you are looking only for pain relief this is the product for you. Does not contain numbing ingredients.

I know, who wants to talk about butt cream. But when you are suffering you want relief, now. This is the only thing that brings me relief and it works immediately for me. I'm talking as soon as it is applied. I've had issues for years and this is really the only thing that works. I was panicked the last time I tried to purchase Tronolane in the drug stores. They do not stock it any more. I was thrilled to find it on it Amazon. I might just get a case of the case of the stuff to insure a future supply. It's that good.

I've suffered for years with a chronic fissure, and recently I'm going through the worst pain I've ever experienced. I spent an hour buckled over in pain and another hour sobbing helplessly in the bath, trying to find relief. I bought this product hoping for the anasthetic to help me, but it honestly did nothing more than your average Preparation H cream does. The applicator is also quite roughly cut, so it's not easy to get the cream where it needs to go without a few pinches - for something created to be inserted into a place which is already under duress and causing pain, you'd think they really should fix this to make it as user-friendly as possible. Giving 3 stars because it thankfully didn't cause itching (like some of these creams have done for me), but it also didn't alleviate much pain - maybe took my 9-10 level pain and brought it to a 7-8. Sitz baths, ibuprofen, soft foods diet, and LOTS of water worked better than this cream.

Have been using this product for many years. It is the only one of its type I have found that does not smell bad (not sweet and not fishy). The active ingredient Pramoxine is gentle but very effective. This product does not stain clothes. It is difficult to find Tronolane in drug stores for some reason. In fact, it is sometimes not available or is on back order at online pharmacies. The 2-ounce size is more economical and is even harder to find. I wonder why the maker does not do a better job of distribution. My local pharmacy says many people ask for it, and she plans to stock more in the future. I hope she will be successful in this.
