I didn't know how much I would like Turkish towels!
I like a soft, light weight towel. I only recently started buying/using Peshtemal Turkish towels and am very happy to have discovered them. They get softer and more absorbent with use and washing. The light weight texture makes drying crevices easy. And they dry on the rack quickly. When I wrap my long hair up when wet the towel absorbs well and doesn't weigh down my head. I might like to have solid colors but I am guessing the stripes/patterns are part of the tradition and would not stop me buying.

Super disappointed. The towel is so pretty but even after the third wash it’s still pilling and sheds fluff constantly. It also started unraveling.

I have a collection of Peshtemal towels from different vendors. This brand and pattern in black is my absolute favourite. I use them as throws, bathroom cafe curtains, wraps, towels, you name it.
