Freezy Pups Kit Dog Treats

These are great organic treats and our dog loves them, especially on hot days! It's quick and easy to make. My only complaint would be that I expected the Freezy Pups Tray to work like an ice cube tray, meaning that you can sort of twist it to pop a treat out but that doesn't seem to work. You have to let them thaw for a few minutes in order to remove them. Not a huge deal since you can just dump them into a freezer bag but worth noting. As far as the flavors, our pup seems to enjoy the Juicy Apple the most. We've also used the tray for frozen yogurt and smashed bananas. It works well.

My dog, a 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, has always loved loved loved ice. When he was a puppy we would give it to him to soothe his gums as he was teething and he's never looked back. Anytime he hears the ice machine, no matter where in the house he is or what he's doing a second later you will see him next to you begging for some ice. So when I saw this treat kit, when perusing for some new treats to interest him, I thought it was brilliant and perfect. We've tried 2 flavors so far, the apple juice and the white cheddar (white cheddar being the favorite), and he can't get enough. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it can be difficult to extract the doggy bone cubes from the tray. They get a bit sticky.

I got thus for my three Chihuahuas to enjoy on hot Southern days. I mixed up the Chicken broth flavor as instructed and the pops turned out perfectly. Easy to pop out, cute bone shapes and just the right size for their little mouths. The only problem I had is that they were afraid if them! But when they started melting they enjoyed them. I will be making dome more if these for my pups and maybe dome plain ice for me.

All it comes with are gravy packets, which I can make on my own. Only benefit is that the shape is cute.

Aside from the bone shape, you're better off using a different ice cube mold for freezing the treats. You can easily see the actual tray is larger than it needs to be making it challenging for those with limited freezer space. The actual molds are pretty difficult to get out. I threw out the tray and use a silicone ice cube mold instead.

My dog loves ice so I thought when I saw this on Amazon it would make a good summer time snack for her. HOWEVER< she would not have anything to do with it, either the apple or sweet potato and maple flavor. Wasted my money on this whim!!

Our pup loves ice cubes but they get lost under furniture or the refrigerator. Because these treats are smaller, Callie can pick them up and chew them. I have tried the apple juice flavor (which I ordered extra of) and she wags her tail when I get one out. I freeze them into batches and pop them into a gallon-size plastic freezer storage bag so I have plenty on hand when our desert heat arrives. If your pup likes ice cubes then it will probably love these frozen flavor treats!

I give my 30lb 4-legged friend 3 little freezy bones about 1x/week. He loves them! I'm happy because they're organic and I don't want to feed my little guy anything that I myself wouldn't consider feeding to my hubby ;) Our pup, Mr. Shimmy, absolutely goes crazy when I put these in his special treat bowl! I think it's over-priced for what it is - but what in the world of pets isn't??? If you're looking for a quality product this is the one to purchase.
