Crayola XL Silly Putty Super Bright, Neon Colors, Fidget Toys, 1ct, Gift for Kids

I love playing with putty while working and this is by far the best quality. Doesn’t get too soft or sticky. I have this on my desk and always grab a little to play with while working. Love love love it!

I bought this for my husband who has recently “rediscovered” Silly Putty. He started with one and then bought several to combine together to make it bigger. He made the comment “I wish I had 20 of these to put together!” Lol! Little did he know that I could make his wish come true thanks to Amazon and Crayola. I surprised him with it, and he got the biggest grin on his face! It was a little bit stiff at first, but after he messed with it all day, it had softened up and was easier to mold. It even bounces! If you have somebody in your life that used to love playing with Silly Putty, they will love this!

When I saw this item I knew I had to order it. It is so Awesome literally & figuratively. It is such an huge amount of Silly Putty that the mind sings with possibilties over the prospect of all the things one can create. at the same time. There's enough to make an entire little scene. It came packed in an appropriate size box with packaging around it so that it didn't move a centimeter in transit. (I'm guessing because the large red egg didn't even have the tiniest of scratches on it's surface.) It was super moist and really fresh. It wasn't quite the same smell I remember. I remembered it being strong and it no longer is. It is great to keep your fingers mobile so they don't get stiff too. So, aside from still being fun I have an excuse to own a large egg in my old age, arthritis. Plus, it makes me giggle just a bit everytime I catch a glimpse of it on my shelf.

I regretted this at first, because it arrived with no packaging whatsoever, just an unsealed giant egg, and it seemed like too much. There's no way these pics can show what a massive blob 1 lb actually is. It's like a monster from a bad '50's movie. And it comes pretty hard, you have to work it little bit by little bit, because human hands aren't strong enough to be pulling on and fighting with the entire blob at once. But now that parts of it are softer & more pliable, I'm happy with it. You can pick the amount you want to work with, roll it into a tennis ball-sized ball, then make it flat as a pancake, or whatever people do with Silly Putty in their most creatively squishy moments. Crayola really needed to include a separate, empty egg though. When you put what you've worked with back into the egg, it oozes back into the Mother Blob almost inseparably. Then you really have to put some Herculean strength into pulling out that piece later. It'd be so much easier with a separate egg to put what you've already worked with into, thereby keeping the rest of it pure & untouched until you're ready to tackle that. As it stands, I just deal with it, since, after all, there are more important things in life to worry about than a blob of goo. It's a fun purchase.

Daughter has one and she has gifted to friends for birthdays. Fun for them to play with in the bus. There is a large volume of putty and the color is very bright pink.

It is Silly Putty, and it is a lot of it. Doesn't exactly smell the way I seem to remember it from childhood, but maybe that's good. Got it as a gift for a niece and nephew and told them it was human flesh. I'm the favorite uncle!!

Our toddlers love playing with this giant silly putty. It is definitely a big hit they come back to over and over again. As described you get one pound of silly putty. Doesn’t fail to please

I was excited to get this with the tin holder... Not realizing that it isn't air tight... The putty was really hard and softened slightly once I warmed it up in my hands. But it's still not useable. Doesn't stretch or anything. It's like a really hard stress clay. Reaching out to customer service for some tips but it's irritating to buy something brand new and have it not work right out of the box. Ugh.... Will update when I hear something back.

Good value for your money yes tough at first but put it under warm water and work it a bit and it becomes very maluable my son loves it great for fine motar skills and playing

It's excellent don't be fooled by first impressions. It was so hard I could snap it in pieces when it arrived. I used one squirt of hand lotion for 3 days. It was simple to work in and now I have a nice soft ball of putty. Try it!

Not much to say, except, it's silly putty and it's great to play with - especially if you want to strengthen up old fingers.

Saw a lot of reviews about it being too hard. People are so lazy. All you have to do is run under hot water and play around with it and it’ll stay soft for a good few weeks and just do that again when it starts to get stiff.
