Self Defense Tactical Pen Glass Breaker Tool Multifuction Anti-skid

a pen is such a common day to day item that it is often over looked. I can't recall how many cheapo plastic pens I have gone through over the years and I certainly can't remember one that truly stood out to me either eye appeal or performance. this pen however is rugged and is somthing that will truly stand up to tasks demanded by people who don't sit behind a desk for a living. as a paramedic my pen is an instrument I use every day. much more frequently than any other item I carry in my pockets. the only thing was, I was going through the crappy pens that often are found in the kitchen junk drawer on a daily basis. This pen suits my needs in many ways. #1 it's durable. I can count on it to take a gnarley beating and still function. #2 it's made of material that can be easily sanitized. I can take an alcohol wipe and clean it after each and every call. #3 I actually payed a decent amount of money for it. this pen is not cheap. most pens we carry cost us literally nothing. however with the thoughteam that I paid $11+ for this bad boy will ensure that I keep better track of it. this think is a brute and meets all of my needs in my profession. it arrived on time and I was very satisfied with the product delivered. worth every penny. if your reading this and canthe understand why somone would get so excited over a pen then you obviously don't have one and need one. now!

**Updated** As far as the original review, it still stands. I love to read updated reviews after the buyer has had the item long enough to make a call it, so I like to update things after adequate time to use things also and give a more reliable review. This pen is still writing very well and I use it every day at work. In fact many people have commented on it about how nice it feels while writing. They often ask where they can get one of them. I haven't had to break any glass yet or for any other use other than for writing. I got 2 of these, one for myself and 1 for my wife. She was working at a location where it is not know for its good location, and she worked until 10:30 pm, so I was a little scared for her safety. I also work in a stand-alone emergency room with only 1 security officer. I am very thankful them, but they are limited to what they can do due to hospital regulations.Original review - Very good product, had it a month now. No issues as of yet, seems very solid, comfortable to write with, and I'm very sure it will break glass easily and very handy for self defense if you have nothing else. for those say it seems useless for self-defense, well, if you have nothing else in the way of experience for defense, this is way better than a useless flailing attempt at punching or screaming.

Effect tactical action, improve safety coefficient. Comes in black."The body of this pen is robust and is larger in life than it appears in pictures. The pen function works quite well and it is true (as other reviewers have pointed out) that Parker refills work just fine. Another unspoken feature is that this pen is unique so that if someone were to adopt it in the field it would easily be revealed if sighted. In short, no one would dare take it and use it in that environment. The knurling on the handle does help with grip and the clip is very sturdy. All in all this is a very rugged pen. It no doubt could serve as a weapon for self-defense. I am skeptical about its use as a window breaker as the heft is not there, but the potential does exist. As a last ditch defense tool or a first rate field pen this one is an excellent choice. Five stars for thinking outside of the box!

This pen is great! I wanted to find something to walk with from my office to the parking ramp due to the neighborhood being a bit shady and some incidents. First of all, the tip doesn't look like much but with a little force, it would definitely get someone to back off of you. The pen portion is nice as well. I use it at work as well.

THIS IS A PEN. So far I've only used it to stab through a bottle of pills. The plastic part under the cap that is hard to peel off. I missed at the first jab and hit my finger. I can tell that this can do some damage. Excited, I jabbed again, hit the bottle, took my pills, held up the pen and yelled. I hope it lasts a long time. Feels solid. Awesome pen & defense weapon. I am a retired Marine & in today's society when even carrying a knife is looked down upon in the modern work environment, this pen with the appropriate knowledge could possibly be a game changer if needed in a crisis situation. Great value & well made.

Beautiful pen... ink lasted 3 weeks. That's laughable. Ink is full, pen won't write.EDIT: ok, it started working again BUT there is a flaw. If you store the pen upside down, the ink appears to drain from the ball tip. Put it right side up, wait 30 minutes, it started writing again. So, the pen is awesome, the ink cartridge sucks!

I had looked around for the best price since all of these looked identical. It's lightweight, durable, and most importantly: The tip is pointy. Jab someone in the sternum or jaw with this and they won't be bothering you.Cons:-As far as a writing utensil, meh. It's lightweight but top heavy when writing granted, I don't really carry it for writing..-The clip tends to come loose occasionally because the "tactical" end will begin to twist off.Overall: Great buy! It's my EDC pen!
