If you value having a case that does not interfere with the overall aesthetics of your phone then this is the perfect case for you! The case itself is very thin and light, but the construction is spot on with all of the cutouts and protection in just the right place. When you first put your phone into the case it is quite a snug fit, but once it is in you get a very satisfying click to let you know your phone is seated properly. There is a very, very small lip the goes over the screen for protection, but if you are like me and also rock a tempered glass screen protector it will sit pretty flush with the case. What I am really impressed about is even though the case is very sleek and minimal, you also get the shock absorbing inner layer that will protect it from falls. I am not suggesting if you drop this case from the top of a two story building your phone will survive unscathed, but I am very confident if this phone slips out of your hand or falls out of your pockets during normal use the phone will be perfectly protected. I am willing to go out on a limb and guess this is the use case for about 99% of the people that use their phones, but if this does not apply to you I would suggest something more hearty along the lines of the speck presidio grip case. Oh, and the grip. It is not the best I've used (the speck case mentioned is the best on that front) but it certainly makes a difference and gives you more confidence while operating the phone. It's nice to know the design of the case won't be the reason the phone is slippery, which is something I can't say about most other cases. It has nice ridges that go along the sides and also has a grippy texture layer on the back.In Summary:PROS- Light and thin- Nice, snug fit- Good grip- Protective from standard falls-PriceCONS- Not protective from extreme heightsI have purchased a lot of cases from Amazon and this one lives up to the hype. Unless you work on a construction site, make this an easy decision and end your search here. You'll be happy you did.

Nice case, very thin, with a white phone, the black case has the resemblance of a tuxedo...Probably would not provide much protection in a fall, but has lots of grooves and edges for grip, so it feels less likely to slip out of your hand. Almost every surface edge has some sort of cutout, grrove, or texture to make sure you have something to hang on to.The cutouts are perfect, all in the right places and with the proper amount of space. The fingerprint sensor on that back has a nice beveled slope to it, helps guide your finger into the perfect placement for unlocking without having to think about it.The best part is that it also allows for a FULL screen protector. I have the Supershieldz Full screen protector, that has black bars on the top and bottom, and this case has about 1.0mm of space around the entire protector before touching the case. The case lip, however, does not protrude very far out (if it did, it would also wrap further into the screen, preventing me from using a full protector), so setting the phone face down might result in it resting on the protector instead of the lip. The lip and the protector look almost flush with each other, so it's very close. If you decide to go with no screen protector, then there would be a gap to protect the screen from your table surface.All in all, a good phone case for grip, looks good, not too techy, but not bland. If your are prone to dropping your device, maybe look for something a little more beefy.

Perfect design, fits like skin on the phone. The buttons don't even feel like there is a cover on the phone. The material feels strong and grips very well in the hand making it harder to slip. Slim and doesn't add bulk to the phone. Feels tough but at the same time provides access to the squeeze the phone feature in Pixel. The edge is not raised above the screen which doesn't provide a lot of protection to it but on the up side it makes less bulky.

It is nice and thin. Nothing will ever beat the feel of a phone with no case but this is good for a nice thin case. I've dropped my phone with this on quite a few times and the case has not scratched yet.

I think it's a great case for people who don't drop their phone very much. I personally like it because of its slim profile, and also the design is nicer than some Spigen cases for this phone. I do feel like Spigen cases probably offer better protection, but I'm not a big fan of the way they look on the back. I gave it five stars because I think for $8, and considering how slim it is it offers decent protection. If you're someone who cares for a little bit more protection I would suggest one of the Spigen cases though.

I went through a couple cases with my Pixel 3a XL, but none seemed to have the right feeling. They were either too heavy, bulky, slippery, or fiddly. This case basically solved all those problems. It's light weight, has texture which makes gripping your phone easier, and looks amazing. Also all the button covers feel premium and not clunky. Overall a great case, and I'll probably buy it in all the colors there are to offer. I really do wish they offered more colors though!

Looks NOTHING like carbon fiber🤣. Basically a black case with lines going across the back. Just call it a black case.On the plus side it's not bulky and fits the phone well

I like the fit and finish of this case for my new Pixel 3a XL. Everything aligns, it's grippy and it is snug to the phone. A screen protector fits fine as well. I know it works because I dropped my phone first day out, it cracked the screen protector but the phone is fine. It probably isn't the strongest case out there, but seems to offer good protection for a minimal case.
