Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Super AMOLED . . . Super Efficient . . . Super Sleek . . . Super All the Way Around!
The Tab S 10.5 is sleek, easy to use, with a responsive operating system and a super AMOLED screen that gives a picture is...well... super! The images are crystal clear and the colors are bright, making movies and gaming more enjoyable. I have been playing Agent Alice and was delightfully surprised at the more 3d effects of this screen over my Tab 7 in some scenes. The sound is vastly improved. Samsung has eliminated the annoying tinny quality that the speakers in the Tab 7 gave out. The system itself is not laggy at all. Once I stopped drooling over the lovely Titanium color, the feature that attracted me most to Tab S 10.5 is the abilitly to use side by side windows. I deliberately chose this model for that feature in order to use Evernote alongside Chrome to do my university studies. I have to say that I was not in the least disappointed. I have acutally begun to prefer the Samsung over the PC for my studies. Tab S 10.5 integrates seamlessly with multiple keyboards. Unsure of which I would like more, I ordered both the Samsung Titanium keyboard case and the FYY trifold in gold with hidden keyboard, and after trying them out, I decided to keep both. Both keyboards connect wirelessly to the Tab S and are equally efficient. I find that Iike using the Samsung keyboard more at home due to the higher angle at which it holds the screen, and the overall stiffness of the unit for any long typing jobs. The FYY case is perfect for travel, although I use it at home as well, but it does allow me to hold the tablet open like a book for reading; it also has the advantage of being able to be folded in either direction so that it will either hold up the screen to use the unit as a sort of laptop, or folded more flat for reading or laying flat or one can hold it open like a conventional book. While the matching Titanium case adds to the sleekness without adding bulk and has a somewhat more comfortable distance between keys, the FYY case adds some bulk but it also affords some protection, as my relative proved by dropping it three times on the hard bus floor while playing a game. The only improvement I could suggest is to add a trackpad to the native keyboard to use as a mouse. All in all, I would definitely buy this unit again, and both cases.

Are we back in 1985? -- replacement
The tablet itself is great! Better than I thought it would be. However I feel like I am back in 1985. This particular device looks like it was use in a store as a demo model. Just like in the time of Ghost Busters, Marty McFly and the Gremlins, There are those tell tail signs of image burn in, or "image retention", as it is now called. You know like those old orange and black CRT monitors that Kevin Flynn used before he was digitized? It looks like some omni present ghost of text long erased. This "ghost" is actually clear enough to read, with a light background. it reads ""Product design specifications, colors and user interface included in this video are subject to change without notice and may vary from those shown." and "The availability of services may vary by country." I have ordered a replacement, that I expect will be showroom perfect, but I would not expect this flaw with a "certified" refurbished product, I would however expect it with an in store demo machine.Other than this fatal flaw, this tablet is a dream. I am able to get a lot of work done on it. I bought it to upgrade from my now ancient Motorola Zoom. this tablet comes with a lot of extras too. Free subscription to evernote, The screen (other than the afore stated problem) is crisper than I have ever seen, it's beautiful, Great, loud sound, and even the bass is OK. Another thing I like about this tablet is the fact that it vibrates, which I don't think is a common feature. The battery is OK, it takes along time to charge when compared to the zoom, Almost 9 hours, when I revived it too full (the battery was all the way dead).Do I recommend this tablet? YES, YES, YES! ... But don't leave any one image on the screen for too long!!!Once I get the replacement, I will change my rating, if there are no other issues.-- editSo I did get my replacement and I did change my rating for the better. This one doesn't have any burn in issues ... As of yet. Great tablet.

I had a doubt about Certified Refurbished but....
I got this tab s 10.5 a week ago from ths review. Delivery came in 4 business days with double-boxed. No original tab s box was provided but well packed with cable and charger. I was disappointed and regretted that I didn't order new one instead of refurbished. Unfortunately, cable and charger didn't work. Tab s itself does look like New. I just thought what the heck and I set it up and use right away. Mine was Sprint version w/simcard slot.I really wanted wifi only.To be honest, it dId look IIke I was mocked from seller. After 1 week use, this refurbished tab s has worked flawlessly, except for charger and cable.I'm satisfied with this tab s and I would recommend who want 16:9 aspect ratio tab. This will be the best and last tab with 16:9 ratio screen.Price was cheaper than new and higher than the used. I tried to believe Amazon Prime and CERTIFIED refubished. It did work for me. I wish seller can give me a new charger and cable. The one they provided was absolutely junk.Cons: cable and charger never worked. No original box of Tab S 10.5Pros: Tablet does work and look like brand new(screen is definitely new and not even a scratch anywhere on tab at all)
