Following my wife's hip surgery, she could not put weight on one leg. Her physical therapists were puzzled how she could shower at home since she couldn't step over the ledge into the shower. I remembered that previous owners of our house in California had hot and cold water facets installed outdoors for their washing machine. Our backyard and deck are enclosed, so I started thinking that since we had hot and cold water and the great outdoors, with no peeping Toms, we should be able to rig up an outdoor shower. But I needed some sort of device that would join the hot and cold water to a garden hose, with a wand extension, to use for the shower. I didn't know if there was such a thing. I checked Amazon for such a device, discovered this product, which sounded ideal, was inexpensive, and I could easily and quickly get with no postage from Amazon Prime. The product is absolutely perfect! Just what the situation needed! My wife is enjoying the outdoor showering so much, I'm not sure that she'll be willing to shower indoors when she regains the strength in her surgery hip and leg. The shower has really brought joy to her throughout the recovery time. Thank you, Samar and Amazon.

if you want to combine hot and cold in your laundry sink, this will do the job.

Value for cost

Leaks and doesn't allow the water to drain into the hose properly. Also cannot use a sprayer that attaches to the hose. When the sprayer is in the off position the water backs up and the pressures bursts at the hose bib. This is what happened at my two water spigots. I can't speak for all.

Utility sink had two separate hoses for hot and cold water. With this product I can now have warm water from one faucet.

I have hot and cold hose water spigots on the outside of our house. I was looking for a cheap way to mix the temps to wash our dog and this worked great.

The hose leaked from all 3 connections. I tried different washers, plumbing tape, tightening, loosening, doubling up on the washers - nothing stopped the leaking except throwing it in the garbage and relacing it with another brand. Then, like magic, the leaking stopped!
