I like many things about this weighted vest, it's extremely comfortable and can be worn for hours. The sand bags that make up the bulk of the weight are also incredibly solid (no worries about breaking) and fit snuggly in place in their pouches so you don't have to worry about the weights falling out. However, it's strenghts are also part of its weaknesses...I do a lot of HIIT workouts that require that the vest come on and off, and others that require changes in weight. Unfortunately, this vest is very difficult to use for these applications. Taking the vest on and off is extremely difficult, given it's setup, and taking the weighted sand bags in and out of each compartment takes an extremely long time (several minutes to get a single bag in place). For that reason, I might need to order a second weighted vest that's quicker for changes.Lastly, it just looks ridiculous when on. I look like black power ranger :/Pros:-Excellent weight distribution-Very comfortable, side shoulder straps prevent pressure on shoulders.-Solid Build Quality and materialsCons:-Extremely time consuming to get weights in and out-Extremely combersome to put on and take off-Looks ridiculous (like a power ranger) when onTHIS PIECE RUINS WORKOUTS AND MAKES ME WANT TO SHOOT MYSELF

This is posted after having it for about a week.Extremely fast S&H, it said it was est to take about 2 weeks, I got it 3 days after ordering. Shipped from CA I live in WA. Came in 2 boxes, 1/2 weights and vest and other 1/2 in other.Weights (bags of metalic sand. Sealed well) fit into vest easily enough. Took maybe 10 minutes to get them all in there.Vest is a bit bulkier than the one from Cap - BUT- I have 20 lb and 40 lb from them so not a 1:1 comparison.Shoulder pads helped a lot, strain i felt was from weight, not placement of vestSeems durable - I use mine for brisk walks and knee lifts. I will update after a few months with how its held up.4/5 just bc as a solitary person it can be tricky to put on with the wrap around velcro straps but it stays secure amd doesnt bounce once you get it on. Honestly Id give 4.5/5 if possible.Dont let lower price fool you, or the neg reviews from 7+ years ago. Im very happy with my purchase thus far. I bought it while shipping weight said 40 lbs but it is 60 lbs.

I liked almost everything about this vest. The only problem i had was that the hooks that held the sides closed repeatedly opened up. Other than that its an excellent purchase.
