These are brilliant little cables!I got the 10-pack to reduce the mess in my router closet by a little bit, and maybe use some later in Raspberry Pi projects, splitting a connection or two using cheap network switches when needed etc. I ended up needing fewer than I imagined for my router closet, but I'm sure I'll end up using more in the future.The cables are pretty well built for the price. They have those anti-snag covers on the plugs. These are also the first flat Ethernet cables I've ever used, and I don't think I'll go back. The ribbon-like shape is a lot easier to maintain, and doesn't get crinkled in the same way as regular cables do.The cables did come in some excessive packaging, though. I am guessing that the supplier/manufacturer packages individual cables for sale, but packs 5-10 together for the bundles. My 10-pack came as a plastic baggie containing 10 plastic baggies for each individual cable.

Works great for multi-VLAN Gigabit trunk
Perfect for my home network equipment's trunk link. Admittedly I have an atypical home lab, though nothing rackmounted. So this is perfect for close by switches or equipment that is stacked. I previously had only cables that were ≥1ft, so although I've done much crimping of custom lengths, it seemed like overkill to go that route at this point (though maybe one day I will pull cable through my house for proper termination points). I really like these flat cables since I only have gigabit. So I'm not sure how it'll do with 10Gb copper links, but it works fine with multiple VLANs over a gigabit trunk.

Exactly as described and work
Perfect for my network cabinet. It still looks like a mess, but these were exactly what I wanted to connect my switch ports to the box of ports that distribute Ethernet throughout my new house.
