7 inch 8GB Navigation System for Cars, Car GPS Spoken Turn- to-Turn Vehicle GPS Navigator, Lifetime Map Updates

I needed a new GPS. When it arrived, I read the instruction manual and followed the directions. It told me to charge the unit before doing anything else. It said that while it was charging a 'red' light would be on. When it was fully charged, I would see a green light. So I connected it to the charger that I use for my phone and my Samsung tablet. It charged all night (over 10 hours) and the light was still red in the morning. I contacted Amazon and the arranged for a replacement. Infant mortality happens with electronics. The replacement arrived. I rechecked the instruction manual to be certain I was following the correct procedure. I plugged it into the same charger that I used before and after 5 hours it was not charged. So perhaps, I thought, there was something wrong with that charger. So I got another charger (different brand) and plugged it in and let it charge over night. In the morning, the light was still red. Hmmmm. So I decided to take the GPS for a ride in my car and use the car charger that had come with the GPS. No luck. So I am sending it back. (Out of curiosity I tried to turn the unit on by pressing and holding the Off/On button. Nothing happened.) I find to be too coincidental. I think I'll find another seller/brand/GPS. I am disappointed.

Unit would not connect to PC for updates out of the box. Was not impressed with how it searched for a location when you asked it to search for something

i tested it by requesting a route home and it consistently told me to turn the wrong direction when, of course, i knew how to get there. and even when it readjusted for a failure to take its direction, it was still wrong. and the route doesn't stay on the screen. this is not my first navigator and the older one -3 years at least, did all the correct things. you'd think newer would be improved.

the maps were old. i was not able to upgrade them .I asked for help and nobody answered. there were addresses of others in it and i could not delete them. looks like someone had used it before . later i learned from others that there should have been a card that made it easier to operate. it was too late for me to send it back. i hope amazon stops doing business with this company

Horrible product. Confusing to set up. Can't find address. Misleading reviews

The screen is not bright enough to be readable in common daylight conditions. Also there is a bug where different programs can’t agree what time zone you are in. Also, the interface is dreadfully cluttered compared with earlier products.

This GPS is terrible. The maps are outdated and the process to update them does not work. I followed the directions and now it does not register a single map for any of the ones I updated. The process is frustrating and there is no customer support that you can get ahold of in a timely manner. After 4 hours of calling and sending emails I am returning the product. DO not waste your time or money on this GPS .

Don’t waste your money. The only good thing about this GPS is that the suction cup does do what it’s supposed to do. The navigation system is not user friendly and it literally will make you go in circles.If you want to find a grocery store or drug store, you better know the name because is doesn’t search by categories.I’m returning it and getting a different one.Very disappointing.
