This has a nice subtle menthol scent due to the peppermint oil. I'm not sure whether it is a placebo affect or whether it relaxes the user due to the act. But it is probably down to some of the ingredients.According to the ingredients list on the back it contains Laureth-9 which is known to have a slight anaesthetic effect. It also says it contains Avena Sativa Kernal Extract which is used as a de-sensitivity agent that has a slight numbing effect. These ingredients reduce pain slightly without taking away the enjoyment as it isn't a proper anaesthetic. So sensation and feelings can be unimpeded by pain.If we had to put a figure in a percentage in how much it reduces pain, I'd say about 40%. It may work better for others though.According to the ingredients this also contains ethylhexylglycerin, which is a known skin irritant. It is a humectant, a chemical used to retain moisture so I suppose itmeans it stops things drying out. Ideal for this product, but a skin patch test is required before intimate use.

I've Used Better *TIPS INCLUDED*
Over many years of anal play I've used a huge number of products, so I was interested to try this Intome Anal Relaxing Gel. Would it live up to expectations? After quite a bit of experimentation my conclusions were that it's a lube of sorts, but not a particularly good one (it dries out quickly, same as most glycerine based products) The mint feels cooling, and actually sensitises the skin slightly, but there was no discernible relaxing action, beyond the pleasurable tingling feeling. So it really didn't do anything much for me I'm afraid, and it's also full of chemicals, which isn't great. There are certainly better lubricants out there, and at cheaper prices, too. The most I'm able to award is 3 stars, which in official terms means "it's okay" but nothing more.SOME TIPSRelaxation is the most important part of anal play - it enables your muscles to relax so you can achieve comfortable and pleasurable penetration. It's a matter of time, and desire, not product in a tube.If it becomes painful, you're doing something wrong. The pain is a message from the body that you haven't relaxed enough yet, and it's time to back off and take more time to relax, or damage will be caused. Products that contain anaesthetics are a bad idea as you won't know if you're injuring yourself. You won't feel much pleasure either, so what's the point? If you're new to all this I recommend buying a good anal lube and a set of graduated rectal dilators (also available here on Amazon) Start small and progress slowly at your own pace. Over a few days or weeks of practice you'll find penetration increasingly easy and pleasurable, even with larger objects. Relaxation will come to you naturally.

Nice clean mint smell
I gave this a 4* for thickness as it's a water based lube so can't really comment on thickness.Arrives in a non discreet box other than saying anal lube there are no erotic photo's on the box so quite non descriptive. On the outside of the box it clearly states to test on forearm for any allergies as the last thing you want is a reaction downstairs.Non sticky and no residue left over, it is a case of trial and error as to how much you use as it's personal choice, leaves a pleasant mild mint aroma

Cooling and numbing NOT LUBE
Lovely scent, the product is to be tried on your arms first to check that you don't have any allergic reactions. So I did that. Lovely mint smell. It has a thick watery texture which is drys fast. This is definitely NOT LUBE. It will dry and make the skin surface feel less responsive. I'm not sure if that's a good thing as I thought the entire purpose of anal play is enhanced because of the sensory response from nerve endings there. So using this product will simply deactivate that response signal... it is more like a numbing cream. It's a minty clear watery version of an antiseptic cream. It'll numb the area you apply the cream too.As I said it is NOT lube. Some reviews here claim that it is, but i left a dot of the cream on my arm, it spread easily and freely, the thin coat but began to dry very quick.I'm not sure if this product is for anal play or also for medical use. I think this product will be of use as a topical numbing to use in the region especially if there is discomfort. It's cooling and refreshing so I should imagine that it is better to use as a topical relief cream for the region.

Makes play more pleasurable
This type of product is quite difficult to review, as we all react differently to things, so I'll offer my personal opinion.Firstly, I didn't have any expectations. The lube is water based, so easily washes off. There is a pleasant mint smell, and consistency is quite watery. It feels really pleasant to apply, and didn't feel sticky, just a fun, sexy lube. We used around a 1/4 of a teaspoon. There were no unpleasant sensations, and after 5 minutes or so, we got down to business and had some fun! It definitely made the experience feel nicer, as long as you set your expectations accordingly. As always, you still need to feel relaxed, but I definitely thought this product worked. We had a lot of fun using it, would use it again for sure. As for value? It's priced around £8 at time of writing, and you don't get a huge amount - on balance, you don't use a huge amount. It washed off really easily afterwards, and 30 or 40 minutes later, everything still feels really pleasant! I'd recommend you try it, I'll be using it again! Four stars as the price seemed a bit on the high side.
