Great problem solver
If you have to bond wires in a tight space, this crimping tool is the one to use. I had to bond 3 safety grounds together and add an additional copper pigtail. The safety grounds extended about an inch beyond the front of a single gang box. There was just enough room to slide a 2011s copper ferrule onto 4 wires. I was able to get a tight crimp right away. Care should be taken to make sure that the wires are parallel inside the sleeve. Wires twisted together will also work. Check local codes to see what is required. Once the 4 x #12 AWG wires were positioned inside the sleeve, the crimp was made. After a tug on all of the copper wires, I was sure that the crimp was a good one. If any of the wires wiggle inside the copper sleeve, it means that the crimp is no good and a new ferrule should be used. It is a good idea to practice on some scrap wire before making the real crimp. Practice will reveal how much force is necessary to make a good crimp. This crimper exerts force equally from four directions and places a four-point crimp on the ferrule. This is ideal for multiple wires inside the same ferrule. The tool is extremely well made, but like any fine tool, it should not be mishandled or dropped. The sliding latch is somewhat fragile and may not survive a drop. The tool is a bit pricey, but it is a real problem solver. I decided upon this particular tool because of the four-point crimp. There are similar tools available at lower cost, but this is the one that you need. Make sure that you purchase the correct copper ferrules based upon the wire gauge and the number of wires that you are crimping. In my case the 2011s copper ferrules were just right for 4 x #12 AWG wires. You can look up the ferrule capacities at the manufacturer's website. Please do not buy inferior crimp ferrules. Use the ones that are soft drawn copper like the 2011s and 2006s. They will be compatible with the soft drawn copper wire that you are bonding and will form a cold weld under crimping pressure. Do not use dissimilar metals. Dissimilar metals are prone to develop high resistivity over time.

Easy to use
These are perfect for connections to motors and other vibrating parts that you don’t want the wires to come loose

Great 4 way crimper
Very easy to use. Wish the handles were a few inches longer so we can get better leverage.

Missing parts
These must be factory seconds.... it didn't have the adjustable window lever for the different sizes crimps, makes it hard to use.

Great for the price!
Its good for what its purpose!

Requires 2 hands
No leverage for gripping and crimping with one hand. Must use 2 hands.
