Great for first starting out, the bottles are small and inexpensive, had pungent smell to it yes gel smells but this smell was a little stronger to me, also it was a little on thicker side

I have gotten gel manis for years and did a TON of research before deciding to do my own at home. The results are just as good as the salon! I also bought the MelodySusie 48W gel lamp. I read several negative reviews for this set, but I truly think the reviewers didn't know what they were doing. Here are the steps I did and my manicure cured perfectly!1.) Wipe nail bed with alcohol2.) 1 thin layer of base coat, put into lamp for 60 seconds3.) 1 thin layer of color, put into lamp for 60 seconds (for my color, I bought a bottle of Gelish GEL polish from Sally's)...4.) Apply a second thin layer of color, put into lamp for 60 seconds5.) 1 thin layer of top coat, put into lamp for 2 minutes6.) All done! No need to wipe.I highly recommend this set and the MelodySusie lamp too!

Easy to use & self leveling. This top coat looks amazing & the price is even better I love how shiny it is. It is pretty thick so that was a slight learning curve but its so glossy & shiny!When I first received my package I thought the lid was glued shut but it was just on there really tight. I ended up opening it with my teeth (I know I shouldn't have) after a couple failed attempts with my hands. I was just able to get a better grip with my teeth.

Alrighty so this stuff works well. Just as good as the nail shops. I love doing my own nails now. Product wise only thing I do not like is that it tell you to use a thin coat but it leaves air bubbles and empty spots. I tried a lil thicker and it works a bit better. This will go fast though because you either do a thin coat and reapply or you do a thick coat and hope for the best. In either case once you get the base coat together color coat (no included) goes on smooth and top coat is great no complaints. I would purchase again only because I wouldn’t wanna waste money on a more expensive product and still no good results.

i have used a few gel liquids with dip powders and with this one I was much happier than with other brands. It was thin yet good coverage, low smell issue, and worked well and would be a great product for someone that was learning. The topcoat has a beautiful shine as well. Most brands have a shine for a day or so, then becomes dull. Some don't even last after a hand wash. Been five days so far and with quarantine handwashing and dishes... still bright and shiny topcoat.

Ok! TIP that I had no clue about because I've never done this before. After applying base coat and curing it under a light, rub excess sticky coating off with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. THEN proceed with color coat or else it doesnt dry right.Also regular nail polish will work but buying gel polish works WAY better.

I've used this product a few times now and I like it quite a bit! Easy to put on, as well as to clean up. However, within a week, it did start to chip. I tend to have problems with nail polish staying on though, so it may be just me!

The base code cured patchy. There were spots that looked like it started to separate from the nail and peeled off the same day as I applied it. I cured it with the Melody Susie Light.***Although the product wasn’t as expected I gave a 5 star rating due to their excellent customer service. They personally emailed me and offered a refund due to my not so great experience. I did purchase the machine that works great.... I wouldn’t purchase this product again however, I would purchase this brand again.
