I use this device for only one thing - to level a pool table. It is perfect for this task. I verified the accuracy and found it to be off level by 0.03" over a span of 100'. Over the span of a pool table that's about the thickness of a sheet of paper.

I've boroughed this laser in the past, so I knew what I was getting. This thing is a great time saver when plumbing from floor to ceiling. And it is extremely accurate, no calibration needed. I don't know if I'll have a use for the horizontal beam, just because I have a 360* lazer for that.

In the right hands, you can layout anything of your imagination on a ceiling, performing all measurements and layout safely from the ground. Then just send your helper up the ladder with a pencil and transfer the marks directly onto the ceiling.I'm an electrician and this helps me shoot lights straight and conduit in-line.

Perfect for setting door pivots . Used daily in construction for a month now and has performed admirably next to more expensive lasers. Well worth it. My only issue was it never came with a belt pouch, the hard plastic case is too large to carry all day along with all other tools. If not for that a 5 .
