Secret Jardin Monkey Fan 200mm (8") - 20 Watt (Oscillating) Clip-On Fan

The media could not be loaded. Edit: 18 months on, still works, but oscillation function isn’t working. There’s a part that snaps internally which houses a blue gear, connected to a rod, which enables the oscillation. I have glued and repaired this a couple of times. The gears start to slip against each other once it loses structural integrity, due to snapping and gluing, which causes noise, and stops it from oscillating. Not bad though, 18 months use for £25!I bought this fan around 6 weeks ago, and had read some dodgy reviews about it stopping working, getting noisy etc, so was slightly concerned, but happy to take it apart and do a bit of maintenance if it was required.As you can see from the video, it is no louder than it was when I purchased it, and have had zero issues. Still working perfectly, and hasn’t been turned off for a second in those 6 weeks.Glad I purchased it, and would recommend this product to anybody with a similar requirement to my own!

At the higher-end price range, I'd expect this product to last more than a year - but it died unexpectedly without fanfare...no pun intended..but seriously - theres not much in a fan - no heating element - so at more than 30 quid, I'd expect more than a "hunk o' junk timebomb". Wouldn't use this company again - and neither should you. Thanks for reading

I've only tested this out and haven't put it to use yet. Two things I did notice right away are, one, it is really powerful for such a small fan. I went to turn it down to a slower speed and realised it was on the lowest already. The other thing that struck me was the speed at which it osculated. It spins around like a lunatic, to be honest. I've never seen a fan spin so fast. Overall it seems to be a good fan—I just wish it didn't osculate quite so fast.

Ordered and arrived quickly,great response from seller,thanks.Fans are plastic and easy to install, sit correctly on pole (different size connectors to fit different size poles provided) and give enough Air Force to do the job required, only slight issue is they both started making a screeching noise about 10 minutes into use,only on oscillating so just made them static.When I have more time I’ll have a look in more detail,think it’s just a bit of plastic rub that I’m sure I can sort out.Still happy tho

The cable is so weak that after exactly 5 months, I noticed the fan making memorable electrical arcing noises.Basically the cable wears out from oscillating, and when it finally breaks through, it burns the cable in 2 placed, so you can do 1 of 2 things.1, Throw it out2, Open it up, cut back the worn out cable, put it back together and continue to use it while your AC Infinity circulation fan gets posted to you, THEN throw this fan out.Aside from this "small" electrical hazard, the fan worked well and did its job flawlessly, 24 hours a day for 5 months, so 3600 hours, not great, not terrible.

Great little fan for indoor grow tents! Very easy to setup and install, saves a lot of space by clinging to the tent pole compared to some clip-on fans. It’s really versitile due to this, can put it anywhere!Noise level isn’t too bad, similar to other fans at this price range & size. It’s fairly quiet though. The oscillating head doesn’t create more noise than if it was fixed position.The actual fan itself blows a stream of powerful air. Much better than other cheaper fans. Do yourself a favour and spend a little extra on this for much better airflow.Overall I think it’s a great fan. In fact I liked it so much I purchased another oscillating plus a fixed position fan. Incredible airflow now!

Very easy to set up and works well, but as is alway the way with these fans, it’s far from “silent” as the box claims.Great if you’re not bothered about noise though!

Works well! Noisy but it is a powerful fan makes a slight click sound when switching direction but that's expected.This DOES NOT come with a desk stand/clamp it's ONLY for grow tents / poly tunnels / shed growing.
