I bought this toward the end of canning season because I was so tired of manually deseeding tomatoes by hand. It's a life saver....wish I would have gotten this years ago!!

It fit my nearly vintage kitchenaid perfectly. So easy to assemble. I just turned it to the 1 speed and let it go.We grow a ton of fruit in our backyard. The hardest to process are the blackberries and raspberries.I used to spend hours and hours trying to smash the fruit through a hand strainer. So many seeds!! My daughter felt bad for me and found this attachment. And, wow! Wow wow! Freedom!! Making jams, jellies, fruit leather, and fruit-sickles now takes a fraction of the time.It worked through all of that, and then tackled all of our tomatoes. I would buy this again and again. Save yourself time! Buy it!

The media could not be loaded.  I got it with the intention of using the fruit and vegetable strainer attachment, but it comes with two. Both the fruit sieve and the meat grinder are included. Both attachments are composed of food-grade materials and are completely safe to use. They are both compatible with my KitchenAid mixer and appear to be of high quality. Because I already have a large professional grinder, I would not utilize the grinder attachment.The flesh of cooked fruit can easily pass through the strainer attachment, but the stems, seeds, and skins must be separated. Before utilizing this, all hard or firm fruits and vegetables must be prepped and cooked. After the contents have passed through the grinder, the filter cone removes all of the skins, leaving you with a finely chopped fruit or vegetable puree.All of the parts are dishwasher safe, however, they can also be hand washed if desired. I love my KitchenAid and use it frequently with different attachments, and this one will be perfect for my son, who is in love with fruits and vegetables.

Love this. Only tried the veg shredder and made my life easier. Easy to use, easy to clean.

This comes with a meat grinder that I have not tried yet. Looks like that’ll work just fine. I used the juicer today and it saves a full two days of work on tomato processing for Puree, vs the boiling of tomatoes, skinning, eliminating seeds, chopping, straining etc. I cannot speak to the longevity as I just got it and used it once, but I am highly impressed and highly recommend. The price point is perfect as well. The recommendation is to not put the product through the juicer more than once as leaking can occur. Of course I did not listen. I ran the discard through 2 more times after initial juicing and got 2 more quarts of juice from 12 pounds of tomato’s. Not a problem with leaking.

I planted seven tomato plants. We don't like raw tomatoes. Yes, I'm a bit nuts. I make puree and diced tomatoes instead. We have been getting OODLES of tomatoes. Today I processed 16 pounds. Two weeks ago, it took me two hours to skin and seed them. Today it took about 20 minutes! It takes me a couple of minutes to understand the directions, but I've done it twice now and am getting the hang of it. There are very few seeds, and no skin in my puree. It makes me NOT dread ripe tomatoes! I haven't used the meat grinder yet, but the juicer is awesome!

This thing works magic in making applesaurce my wife tells me. We got one for our daughter who made many quarts of applesauce with it last fall. It's the best purchased addition to my wife's KitchenAid, she says.

I bought this because it was dishwasher safe, unfortunately it leaked in multiple spots so I returned it. It was such a mess. This was orange juice, it should have been an easy juice for it to handle.

I was initially worries that the grinder was plastic and not metal, but was pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the material.It's thickness and strength is closet to pvc pipe (though a different material) than to the plastic used for children's toys, for example.It was great for grinding meat, and I've had good success with sausage making ad well.One tip I found helpful when stuffing sausage was to have an elevated baking sheet closer to the height of the grinding attachment than to the counter on which the stuffed sausage can rest. This is true of all stand mixer sausage makers, not just this one, but it greatly helped in making sausage. I just put a baking sheet on a stock pot and was all set.

Excellent product very good quality. Exactly what I need it for. Fits to all kitchenaid mixer. Grinding the meat with fine and sharp cuter. And I like how easy it can be cleaned. The materials are thick and smooth. Great value for money.

This one is the less expensive version of the Kitchenaid brand, this one is mostly plastic versus the other ones which are made of more metal then plastic. I went with affordability and it works great so far. I have made bread crumbs and I have also ground chicken breast to make chicken burgers. I would recommend.

Product is easy to put together, fits well onto kitchenaid mixer, works smoothly, looks exactly as advertised. Recommend hand washing the metal pieces as they will rust from the dishwasher
