This SunroadWay box works good it's easy to set up and opereate.I don't like the idea of spend a lot of time, run bunch of wires, drill holes, install monitors and this small box is exactly what I was looking for.A easy way to get your back up camera in no time.I liked it so much I got two of tham for the cars I drive the most and the best part of it is it took me less than a one hour to connect it to the back up light wire for power download app and connect the camera wires to this unit.Now I can back up to my trailer at the first time with out a hassle.Some people talk about that they have problems with conecton and I had expected this few times too. App would not connect to this box but it was only when I went out of this box wifi range and when I got back in the wifi signal range it didn't work. All I had to do to fix that was to turn off wifi on my phone and then turn it back on of just re open the app on my phone and it always fixed all my connection problems.

OLD REVIEW, SEE UPDATE BELOW9/8/15This product is a great idea for those that don't want to run wires throughout their car and mount a screen to their dash. All you need to do is splice this little device into your car's reverse lights, connect a cheap camera, and use your phone as a screen.I was excited to see it in action for the first time after installing the kit on my truck. However the second time I turned it on and connected to the app, all I got was a black screen. I've tried everything; reinstalling the app, resetting the WiFi, and even rewiring everything. It only seems to work the first time after resetting the device, then it quits. I have no idea if the app or the device is the issue, but one can't work without the other, so I'm rating both 1-star.I've already replaced a defective transmitter through Amazon once, and it's not worth it to try another one. Think twice before spending this much money on a product with nonexistent customer support.**UPDATE** 11/3/15I recently upgraded my phone from the 1st Gen Moto G to Samsung 5S, and now the transmitter works great! No more black screen and hardly any lag in the picture. I'm increasing my review to 4 stars with the caveat that it takes a high performance phone for the transmitter to work reliably.My only gripe now is that the app will not close itself after the transmitter shuts off, so I have to swipe it off the task list every time I finish backing up. This gets old after a while. Fix this and I'll up the review to 5 stars.

This little unit actually works pretty good! It uses the free app called WIFI AVIN. The range is great. I have it connected to a back up camera on my truck and use my cell phone as the monitor. It does have a slight delay (1/2 second) so use caution when aligning a trailer ball/hitch. Also, when I'm connecting my trailer at the house, my phone defaults to the house wifi instead of the app. It's a slight inconvenience to switch from the house wifi to the truck. I used silicone grease on all connections then covered with shrink wrap. So far I've had no issues with corrosion on the connections. I couldn't give it a 5 because of the delay and pain of switching wifi connection... I had a couple of occasions where the picture froze but that was an app issue and not this transmitter. All in all, I would buy again!

Quick to install. I used with a license plate camera on our enclosed trailer. Transmitter provides power jack for camera so I wired unit to running lights. I can view behind me regardless of being in reverse by just having lights on. By using Iphone or Ipad in truck i can switch to any vehicle or any Iphone/Ipad/ Android.When powered on you'll search for wifi signal from WIFI_AVIN. After several emails to the seller including numerous pictures I have been told that the reason it does not work is because the unit I received is COUNTERFEIT! Since I know that the camera works - I hooked it directly to my TV via the video input - and since my tablet receives a WiFi signal from the Sunroadway, I believe that it is actually the software WIFIAV (app) that is preventing anything from appearing on the tablet screen. However, I'm now tired of reading "Chinese" English emails and after spending the better part of 5 days trying to get this thing to work, both the camera and the WiFi sending unit are being returned to Amazon for a refund.

ok I just received this device, hooked up the power and video cam, installed the app, connected to the device wifi network, the app starts and shows the screen with all the buttons, but the only "open folder" is active, all the rest don't work, and there is just a black screen. I tried with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and no luck, my new Verizon tablet - no luck, my older android phone - no luck. So far this product sucks!

Didn't work at all. I tried the WIFI AVIN android app on two devices and both would connect to the Wi-Fi network generated from the transmitter but would never show an image from the camera. (same problem as others have stated - only the folder button is active but no image) Not much support from the seller - bigfish1980 - they sent me a unit labeled "903W" but sent me the manual for a "802W" three times. I also tried to get support from the WIFI AVIN and WIFI AVIN 2 app. They would not support the 903W model number.

Great product, easy install but will not work on Android. Works fine with ios but no working Android apps to be found anywhere! It would get 4 stars if I was an iPhone only user.
