I read the reviews looked and check all the options and other places. I decided to go with this one and I am so happy I did. it fit my Compaq Presario CQ62 like a glove! I am also happy to be mobile agian with my laptop even if it is an older model I still love to be able to carry it where I want when I want I am unplugged :) If you need a battery replacement I suggest you get it here! came a day earlier then I expected plugged it in and bam working like a charm. I do suggest you follow instructions that come with the battery on how to properly charge it as most people do not follow proper care and use of these they just take it for granted. I am so happy and smiles all over

The item fitted my old Compaq laptop without a hassle. Having read other reviews for other similar batteries, some which mentioned some problems with the dimensions, I was a bit concerned about his product, but once I installed my misgivings went away especially since it started to work right away. I wanted to give the old Compaq (a CQ56 with an Intel Celeron) some new life by getting rid of the bloated Windows 10 that installed itself 'for free' three years ago and installing a Linux based distro, but the original battery just died. This replacement product came to the rescue. If you want to replace the battery on a similar old laptop, consider this product.

I tried to snap it into the battery dock but it didn't fit. I tried everything. Then I compared it to my old battery: sure enough, a part of the new battery's underside casing was a smidge longer. But the seller was terrific. They refunded it, sent me another 1, & kept in touch. The 2nd 1 didn't fit, either: a smidge too big. But again, the seller apologized and kept in touch. A+ customer service.

The battery was working fine until February. I purchased the battery in December. The battery is shutting down my laptop computer. I did a diagnostic off of you tube. When the battery is connected it will eventually really soon and shut my laptop down. If the battery is not connected my laptop will stay on. I purchased battery to secure my laptop and not loose connection. I'm back to square one. This is not at a long lasting battery. It roughly only last the 90 days.

Purchased for personal computer that is used about 1 hour per week. Shut down computer, did not use for 2 weeks, computer would not turn on even when plugged into the wall outlet. Put original OEM battery back in and computer at least worked while plugged in. The New replacement battery lasted less than 2 months. Would not recommend this product to anyone as it failed right after the return policy expired.

Long lasting replacement battery and I think it is better than the original. I would recommend this

Great battery life and good charging. Was a great investment to actually give my laptop mobility again.
