Robust and strong....like coffee should be
If you like weak, wimpy coffee, then this coffee is not for you. But if you like strong, robust, tasteful coffee, with a soupcon undertone of bitterness, then Java One French Roast Coffee, 14-Count Pods (Pack of 6) is the best choice that I have found. I used to use Senseo Kona Blend Coffee (10% Kona Coffee Blend), 16-Count Pods (Pack of 6) ; it was good, but then when Amazon's inventory was temporarily exhausted, I found Senseo Colombia Blend Coffee, 16-Count Pods (Pack of 6) which was stronger. But now, Amazon doesn't seem to carry Senseo brands anymore--or Senseo doesn't sell thru Amazon (which is the former's loss). In any event, I needed coffee that featured pods that would fit my Senseo machine, and I serendipitously stumbled upon Java One French Roast, and I'm glad I did! Further, the Java pods--unlike the Senseo pods--are individually sealed in air-tight wrapping, which means the coffee stays fresher, longer. Java pods contain a bit more coffee so I have to use the two-cup holder because it's deeper. Java costs more than the Senseos, but, in my mind it's worth it! Try it--you'll like it!Correction: I'm able to use the one-cup holder--tap the pod so it fits snugly in Senseo's 1-cup holder.

Could Be Bolder
I like a dark, rich, bold cup of coffee. So, I'm disappointed this Java One French Roast isn't bolder. I can only get close to the taste I want by running half the amount of water through it, and using two pods to make one full cup of coffee. Flavor is smooth, not bitter.

Good coffee!
Java One is good coffee. It is the best coffee you can buy for people with pod style coffee makers. I have the Black & Decker Home Cafe and have tried all the coffee varieties available with this style pods and Java One is the only one that produces a nice rich cup of coffee. I order a case, or two at a time. The pods are individually wrapped to keep fresh and, truly, the last cup tastes as good as the first. Try it, I think you'll agree, Java One is good coffee.

Good cuppa joe
Your never going to mistake this for your $5 Starbucks specialty but it is a fast good cup of coffee. It takes a little experimenting with coffee strength (1 vs 2 pods) but once you find your preference you will be happy with this coffee.

Doesn't work with my Senseo
I can't seem to make a strong cup of coffee with these pods, even using two at once. The pods fit perfectly, but I think the problem is the pods are packed too tightly or the filter paper does not allow adequate water flow. They seem to swell into a ball shape and the water then flows around the pod and not extracting a lot of coffee. I'm going to try to engineer a fix and will update the review.

Packed so tightly that is seemingly ruined the pump on my Bunn Pod system
I like the taste OK but now my Bunn pod coffee maker is out of commission. The Sumatran was much easier for the $400.00, plus, machine to brew. That machine was great.

Pods for Senseo Coffee Maker
Pods are individually wrapped and dispensed very conveniently from the carton. One pod fits very nicely in the Senseo coffee maker. However, two pods are too thick for the two cup holder.

STRONG & BOLD
For a pod these are great. I use with my Senseo coffee maker. I was using Senseo pods until they were temporarily unavailable at Amazon so I tried the Java Ones and these pods have more and better tasting coffee than Senseo pods. I actually hit the double cup button for these and get a good cup of Joe. Just make sure the "thick side" of the pod is down so it won't leak. Sorry Senseo, Your coffee maker is awesome but your pods are weak. Go with Java One!
