The salt grinder still works, but the peppermill only lasted 1 month. Waste of money! This was a gift to my brother in law so I was embarrassed that it turned out to be junk.

I’ve used electric grinders for years. Just bought these because they are cheap. Boy did they prove their cheapness. The battery labels are backwards, at least I think they are. Tried putting the batteries in and nothing happened on either. Reversed the batteries and only one worked, or at least spun. The other hasn’t worked once. And the one that worked, barely grinds anything. Ended up breaking out a mortar and pestle to get freshly ground pepper in enough volume to even taste, despite holding the grind button down for, not kidding, at least 3 minutes. Going to return the grinders as defective, but truth be told, I don’t think they’re not working as designed, they just suck.

I’m excited about the new grinders. Been having trouble finding one that will grind the Himalayan salt. This one seems to handle it. I also like that it only takes four AA batteries where my previous one took six Aaa. Another great feature is the holder and the covers for the bottom of the grinders so the excess doesn’t get all over the counter or table.

Update: I was sent a new unit and it has been working flawlessly! I am now extremely pleased and would recommend this product to anyone! Since then, I have purchased 2 more as gifts. I purchased this for my mother who has severe arthritis because I thought it would be helpful. She enjoys fresh cracked pepper and sea salt and it stopped working as soon as she got used to it. I’m extremely disappointed!

3 days after I received these and only two uses, one of grinders stopped working. Changed batteries...etc nothing. Dead.I do like the idea of battery grinders. Trying to get a Teaspoon of salt or pepper for a recipe with manual twisting grinders is a tiring experience, These, with a press of the top button, it grinds out as much as you need.

I have had other battery powered salt and pepper grinders and I believe these are a better design. One word of advice to users: Look at the + and - signs next to the battery compartments and ignore the written directions in the folder enclosed with the grinders.

We received a set of these for Christmas and the gentleman that gave them to us really liked them so I ordered a set for him. We all love them. The light is great so you can see how much salt or pepper you’re actually grinding on your food.

At first this product was great. Purchased and started using in September. By December the the first stopped working and today the 2nd one stopped working. Don’t waste your money on this cheap product. I changed the batteries and am using high quality batteries and it does not do anything. Both broken after very light use in less then 3 months. The light turns on but nothing grinds.

Chose this over a cheaper set expecting quality. Replaced batteries. Cleaned entire unit. Nothing.
