Authenticity
The bottle showed up before the expected delivery date, which was awesome. I am very pleased with the quality of the bottle only wish it were bigger. I have been using it going on three weeks now and the color has totally tarnished (showing its authenticity). I’m loving it, it seals pretty good at the lid so no complaints there, I even dropped it a few days ago and encored a dent on the bottom, the lit held up better. Overall, it’s a great investment.

Great quality
It's a nice size and I can put room temperature water in it but the bottle some how makes it cool

Top screws and unscrews smoothly
So far, so good. I’ve used it a few times. The plastic ring hasn’t come off and the top hasn’t gotten stuck on once.

Some design mistakes
If you have used KleenKanteen in the past, this is different. The one thing about copper is that the smell and taste can be strange. The outer part of the bottle blotches up with stains very easily. You have to be very careful about how you handle and wash this. Overall it's a good bottle and a good idea. However...There is a single HUGE design mistake here. That is in using a copper threaded top. After a few opens and closes you start to feel a grinding of the metals. This should have been coupled with a plastic top to prevent that kind of grinding. Also, the threads are a bit too thin, which contributes to this grinding AND it's relatively easy to mis-thread the top because of this. I don't regret my purchase, but I would not buy this bottle again until/unless the top is changed out for a hard plastic. Copper on copper is not great, and the looks go down rapidly on the outside.

Good, once it's cleaned.
I feel like this is going to be a good bottle, but it required a level of cleaning before first use I've never seen in a product before. Most of the inside had what looked to be industrial grease leftover from the manufacturing process. The worst was the threads where the cap screws in. The entire cleaning took me a while, several washes, a couple rags, and a long handled bottle scrubber. Now that the threads are clean the cap screws down fine. I can't express enough the effort needed to clean this thing. Don't think you'll be able to just run it under the faucet and call it good.

Contaminated with lead
This product is contaminated with lead, or at-least the one I received.First swab on the far left is the control, ran under my own tap water and even rubbed on a different metal surface. If the color changes from yellow, there's lead.As you can see, the three I've used to test the copper vessel all turned different colors. The first of the three (left to right) was tested before washing and rinsing the vessel. There were black particles inside when I inspected it, but figured this to be steel wool. Tested again both the interior and exterior on the last two swabs and behold there is lead. Why this is being advertised as a copper drinking vessel is beyond me. I wouldn't trust this enough to drink out of.
