These are great for large drink cans but not gd for anything stronger like a tin can

Bought two can crushers for 500ml cans. Perfect! Very smooth action when using and easy to fix to a wall/cupboard. Very steady and saves buckets of space in your recycling bin! This product was due to arrive on 6/10/2020 but to my surprise arrived 3/10/2020. I only ordered on 1/10/2020. Super fast delivery!

Did a fair bit of research before buying this as I've owned one like this before and the side arms buckled after a week so I was quite wary of the build quality. I've mounted it to the wall (easy 5min job) and so far all good. I have found that if you hold the can with the spare hand whilst gently but firmly crushing the can it wont flip out and the arms don't bend. All good so far but probably because I'm treating it with a bit of respect

This is a fab thing if you have loads of cans reduces the amount of space in your recycling bin so much

Its cheap, it does work but it deforms like its made from hot, soft metal every 10 or 20 cans crushed.It can be bent *almost* back to its original state but it feels like it could go at any time.Probably just spend a bit more on a better one or just be prepare to bend the mechanism with your hands (which is pretty easy because of the soft metal.Just to clarify, it actually works pretty well but it can be very flimsy.

The description says what it is supposed to do, yes it opens bottles, as for crushing cans, no, absolutely no good.When you unpack this can crusher it looks great, nice shiny paint, nice firm action but, when trying to put the item to use, catastrophe!! Both the upper and lower part of the crusher have been painted with a high gloss paint, which looks good but it leaves everything slippery. The issue is that being so shiny there is zero grip on the cans, so when you try to crush them they slip around and then pop out, partially crushed. Both the top and bottom need to have a coarse feel to it so that it grips the can and therefore crushes it.Secondly is what I would call a major design flaw, there are no lips on either the top or bottom plate to help hold the can in. This means things pop out but also that cans, baked beans, soup or any other type of food tin cannot be crushed as you cannot put a crease in the can to aid crushing.I have added two photo’s to try and visualise the difference, which I did not think about when I ordered this item.I am not going to return this as I have ordered some gripping tape, like the tape you can use on skateboards or slippery wooden floors, I will update if it makes a difference.This item looks good it’s a shame the functionality is not there.Unless the company that sells this also manufacturers it, which I don’t believe is the case, so I found no fault with the seller.I hope this helps.Thanks for reading.

Love it! Got it for my mum for Christmas and she said it is one of the best gifts she has ever received. Would recommend getting if you love crushing cans or anything metal.

Funktionell! Meine 5-jährige zerquetscht leidenschaftlich Dosen damit!Leider rutschen die Dosen unten leicht heraus!!!Kann aber mit Anti-Rutsch-Tape gemildert werden!
