The Cybernetic 1000 Watt Digital Ballast is one of the quietest ballasts in the market, due to its ambient cooling design. It is equipped with a relatively large heat sink for dissipation, and has a total of 64 cooling fins (tallest fin at .5"). The 1000W-MH/HPS Ballast has 2 symmetrical brackets that create a 1/8" clearance gap for extra cooling once mounted. The ballast can also attach to rails via the 3/8" mounting rail on the top profile, which make multiple side-by-side ballast rail mounting an easy option.
