Great light, missing a good pulse mode, great customer service
This is a pretty good bike light - easy to use, easy to recharge (micro usb - plug it in when you get to work if its at low battery and you're good for your ride home and then some). Its quite solid and very bright. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is that there isn't a good pulse mode. The strobe mode is like a rave strobe and would probably give you a seizure if you tried to ride with it. The SOS mode flashes SOS in morse. Good for if you get lost on an island (with a USB powersource) or in the mountains and are trying to signal a plane, but less visible when you're on the road trying to make sure that cars see you. I wish it had a good, regular, pulse mode.UPDATE:After having this light for almost a year, the bracket that attaches to my bike snapped, leaving the light mostly useless. However, Cycloving has great customer service. I contacted them about the problem, and a new bracket is shipping out within a day. Also, the battery on this thing is great. It lasts a long time between charges - I think I charge it maybe once a month, and I commute about 6 miles in the dark each night, so it gets a decent amount of use.

Decent light for the price
**3 Year Update: I still use both lights about 3 times a week on my bike commutes (no wet rides). Both front and rear lights hold charge & work flawlessly. Rear light is comparatively underwhelming and should only be used as a secondary light: it's not bright and eye-catching, but the battery lasts a while at least! I swap between three of my bikes and the elastic band still functions well.Note: This is a review of the color 'Black Black' model.I didn't see any reviews for this model yet, so here' mine. Good output and a decent spot/flood pattern.Pros:- Reflector style is nice with a somewhat clean cut off line at the top so you won't blind incoming traffic- Sturdy Construction. Aluminum housing with plastic lens out front- This model has two Philip screws in the back. This may be there to access the 18650 rechargeable battery inside which is a plus once the battery fails to hard charge in the future. There's another light similar to this on Amazon that does NOT have the screws and customers have reviewed that product to have the back cap fall off.- Button construction seems solid and crisp with the clicks. (Single click yields solid pattern. Holding down the switch starts the strobe function.- There are two types of strobe patterns. I like the strobe pattern that has different pauses which makes the flash more random and attractive to other motorists on the street- Small size, compact, easy to charge at the bottom.Cons:- Not a true 400 lumen lamp. Could be a little brighter, but it's limited to using only a 18650 style battery- See the picture I included. The LED itself is pretty close to the shiny, rear reflector. Because of it's location, the heat dissipated from the LED is causing the plastic to melt which will affect the beam pattern the more I use it.- Elastic Band to hold the light will eventually fail due to its material nature. Plastic that connects to the bottom of the light seems very thin, but no issues so far with the light sliding or moving during my rides (mounted on a road bike). Note the 'black black' version is different from the 'black red' handlebar clamp.- Once the battery reaches 35-40%, the light output falls (very noticeable). Once it's 25%, there's hardly any visible light on the ground unless you're on a completely dark road/trail.The rear light included is rechargeable for the black black model unlike the other options they sell. It has a few flash functions, but honestly, I don't think this rear light is bright enough (especially during the day). It is also wide in diameter (wider than my seatpost).I use this everyday for my bike commutes and will be updating my review in the future. In slow flashing mode, I can get around 5+ hrs before there's no usable light (it lasts a little longer, but the light is very dim). In low beam, I can get around 4-5 hours of usable light before it gets dim. I used to use a bike lamp that required an external battery, but that started getting inconvenient with the mount/dismount every day. Those lights are a lot brighter though (they use 4x 18650 batteries).

Well worth the money.
Bought this because NYC law states that bikes have to have lights on them in the dark. Also a great idea if you are biking at night, law or no law. I wanted a light that was waterproof. This light is perfect for what I use it for. As the sun sets earlier and earlier until winter solstice, leaving from work would be in darkness. This light is strong and pierces through the dark where there aren't any street lights. I really like that I can remove the light without taking the mounting off too. I've dropped it quite a few times and other than a little scratch, there is no visible damage. There are 3 settings (high, medium, and low) plus an sos pattern. The rear light is great too. It has 3 settings too: always on, slow blink and fast blink.

More then what I expected
Writing this review a year into using this light on almost a daily bases. This light is amazing and way more then I expected for it's small price tag.I have used it both in pouring rain and in quite cold temperatures (around 5°F), and it has held up wonderfully. It has a few scraps on it from dropping it a few times, but I have noticed no reduced brightness or even battery life over its year of use.The only problem I have had with it is it's mount. The little clip on the mount that holds the light in place recently snapped off. This has not been too much of an inconvenience for me as the light fits on snugly even without the clip and I easily jerry-rigged a rubber-band to provide some additional support in case i hit a large pothole on my bike. The price for this light is pretty wonderful considering how well it has preformed over a year of use.

Nice looking & solid headlight; rear light is not rechargeable.
The headlight is compact, and easy to charge and toggle through its settings. Fit & finish and aesthetics are all very good. Seems to put out a VERY LARGE amount of light for such a small package. The connector bit that attaches to the handlebar is easy to use and seems substantial enough to stand up to some use. The one small issue I have is that based on the product name "rechargeable LED Bike Light" I'd assumed that both the front light (headlamp) and rear light (smaller red light) were rechargeable. The rear light is battery-operated -- comes with those included and frankly I might prefer to change batteries once a year for that one rather than have to remember to recharge both lights. Just putting it to use on my son's school commuter bike today, so we'll see how it holds up some weather and winter rains.

Wow i’m impressed
Had this light for awhile and just never had to use it much, so with the time change I used it early in the morning, wow this thing puts out almost as much light as a auto head light. Very impressed and would diffidently recommend this light. It has a high, medium, low, and strobe and seems to last awhile between charges. If this gets back to the seller I would say that asking for feedback I do not click on links that I can’t verify, to many issues with hacking.
