100% Cotton Knit Full Slip or Nightie Featuring USA-Made Fabric

I received this slip and was thinking I had made a mistake ordering it. But when my old slip was dirty and I had to go out I put it on and what a surprise. I started trying to order another one on the way to my event. It is the most comfortable slip I have had since I was a child and cotton was the norm, I’m 66. It is soft and doesn’t stick to me or ride up my legs while sitting. Best of all it doesn’t ‘sweat’ me. I ordered another one and as soon as it arrives this old nylon one is out the door. If you are older and want that comfy feeling of the past or younger and want to experience real comfort, I highly recommend this all cotton slip. The seller is great as well.

I ordered the XL and washed and dried it in/on hot. I'm 5'6 160lbs and generally wear a size 12. The body fits nicely except for the straps which are WAY too long. I'm going to alter it. Too bad the straps aren't adjustable! I don't think a size L would have fit as well everywhere else.As far as the fabric, it's soft and very comfortable. I wore it under a caftan style dress on a hot day and was very comfortable.Would like to see more colors!

This slip/nightgown met and even exceeded my expectations. I wanted a breathable 100% cotton or cotton knit slip (without adjustable straps and accompanying uncomfortable metal hardware) to sleep in or to wear as a slip as well, and that is exactly what I got. After laundering as instructed (I used warm water wash, not cold) and drying on low/delicate heat (it's hot!) cycle in the dryer, this garment fit me perfectly. I'm just under 5'8" , 120 lbs. with short-waisted torso, all legs-- and the slip hem hits me at the knees and covers them slightly. The straps fit perfectly as well.I purchased the size Medium and was worried it would be too small after post-wash shrinkage due to the other reviews I had read. I normally wear a size Medium at my height and weight, though, so thought I'd see what happened with one in my particular case before ordering 2 as I'd planned. The ribbed cotton knit fabric is GORGEOUS, soft, and a very pretty bright white, with delicate non-scratchy (very important!) edge stitching on the outer edges of the straps.If I had designed this slip myself, it would have been exactly this, no ifs, ands, or buts. I buy from Vermont Country Store so originally searched for something like this there; I was so happy to see it here when VTCS did not have it. Highly recommended and ALL the stars. Now that I know how this fits me, I am definitely buying more of these and at least another one this month! For the winter months I'm wearing this underneath a 100% cotton full length nightgown. What a great, utilitarian, yet pretty (!) and comfortable, layering piece for all year round! My favorite find for 2019.Update: I have purchased 3 of these slips now as of this week, Mon Aug 3 2020. Favorite!!

Have worn cotton slip a few times and am liking it. In summer time when a slip is necessary, nylon is just so uncomortable. Because the material is cotton, remember certain fabrics will not hang smoothly, against the slip, without you adjusting. The only thing I found is the shoulder straps seem to be a little long for me and they are not adjustable. I'm. 5' 5" but it seems just a little too loose in the shoulders. Wish this product came in a half slip as well. I do recommend this product.

I can only wear natural fabrics. This garment is true to fit and oh so soft! Fits like a dream! 🥰 I'm going to order several more. Sleep in, a sundress or the perfect base garment for layering. 👍I live on Whidbey Island, Washington. Those of us who live on the wet side of the mountain have perfected layering to an art.🏞️☔🌬️🌧️🌊🌦️🌤️☀️ This garment allows you to have effortless layering; maintaining a nice shape while wearing a dress/skirt. 🥳 I'm a fan!!🤩🤩

I ordered two of these slips, size Large. One was laundered in warm (not hot) water and line dried and is now four inches shorter than the unwashed one. This length should still work fine for my purposes, but one should plan on this shrinkage happening.

I chose it because I like the feel and texture of cotton on my body. I wear it without underwear around the house in the hot weather and to sleep in, and under flannel nightgowns in the winter. I ordered medium, and initially washed it in cold water and hung it out to dry on a hanger in the shower. I continue such strategy, and It has kept its size, and is very comfortable.. I don't wear dresses anymore, and feel it might be a tad bulky under one. Perhaps, in a smaller size for that purpose, but I like my clothes a little loose in the hot summer.

I use mine as a nightgown and am 100% happy with it. No gripes whatsoever. And what a bargain for 100% cotton and great quality!
