Crappie: How to Catch Them Spring and Summer

This book, like most crappie fishing books, covers the south part of the US. I live in Moses lake Washington. We can't use live baits other than night crawlers. We can't use 16 poles or put fish structure in the water. Still looking for a book that covers crappie fishing out west. May have to write it myself.

It's a question answer style book and it doesn't really translate to the upper Midwest where I fish. The Q and A style of writing I found rather boring to read.

I was concerned that this would be a rehash of his earlier “Master’s” book. This was not the case as it is a deeper dive and contains new information. A bit more focused on multiple poles and trolling (and he gives legitimate reasons for this focus) yet the information is translatable to the angler who uses a single rod.

This book is good reading, but not a lot of how to catch crappie! there are much better books out there.

Has some good info.

I started catching fish right away using the bull dozing technique described in the book.That section alone is worth many Times the price of the book.
