They're ok, They work best in like bathrooms above the mirror where the light is reflected. Flush, light fixtures in the ceiling that are painted black, no good. Kind've makes the eyes stain.

Great bulb
I'm used to using the yellow cheap light bulbs you get from Walmart. It took some getting used to the white light, but it does remind me of sunlight more than the yellow bulbs. The best part is 5 watts! I replaced the bulbs I use the most in the house with these and I don't miss the old ones.

Great product, but trouble with some fixtures
This was my first time using LED light bulbs (other than a night light) and I am very pleased with the product.I prefer the white light given off by these bulbs when compared with the CFL bulbs I have been using. I was going to upload a photo with a side-by-side comparison, but am unsure of how to do so.The bulbs did not work in two of the fixtures tried. In fact, the breaker built into the pole uplights was triggered. I tried two different bulbs in two different fixtures with the same result. Unfortunately, these are the two fixtures that are used the most daily. Thinking it may be due to the fixtures accepting three-way bulbs, I tried the bulbs in two other three-way fixtures without any issues.Pros:- Nice white light.- Energy cost savings.- Reasonable price.Cons:- Incompatible with some fixtures. -1 star.- Very slow shipping. Not sure if the product is drop shipped, bulk shipped, manufactured to order, the order was overlooked, one time fluke, or what, but it took 15 days for the product to ship after ordered and 5 days for UPS ground shipping from CA to WA (reasonable, I guess). Maybe Prime has spoiled me. No stars deducted as this is a product review.

I've use these bulbs for a number of years due to the fact they put out a good amount of light AND more importantly unlike most other LED bulbs like CREE, and other sold at Lowes, Home Depot, Target, etc these do NOT get hot! They do not pose a fire or burn danger due to their low operating temperature. I was looking to stock up on more of these now find they are out of stock and don't know when(or if) they'll be back. That is very unfortunate as these were the safest LEB bulbs I've used that are lit up for many hours at a time.

Energy Saving at it's Best
Great lights for 5W. I'd say go for it if you don't mind the white light.
