Awesome watch
I really like this watch. It’s not too expensive yet it’s tough and durable. I like that you can set 5 different alarms. Everything is there, time, date and day of the week. I recently left the watch in a uber and wasn’t able to get it back so I bought the same watch again I liked it so much

Great watch. 1 year review
I have had this watch over a year now and it is still functioning and looks like day one. I have been to multiple field training exercises with it and it has yet to show any signs of quiting. Within the first month that I owned it, I scratched the plastic front face pretty deep but thankfully that deep scratch disappeared within a week (didn't expect that, just thought I should share) it's almost like the plastic face to the watch is self repairing. The watch was a bit bulky the first week but you get used it quickly. The nice thing about that is it is likely to keep your sleeve up enough so that you can easily see the time.It has different functions that work well, the four button arrangement for functions can be a bit tricky at times but it becomes muscle memory soon enough.Over the past year I have only noticed it coming off my wrist twice which I'm sure can be expected with many watches just based on things pressing against the buckle certain ways/directions.If I lost this watch I would certainly buy again. The only thing I would look for differently would be to have an easier way to set alarms. At night in the field you can't use the watch light while attempting to set alarm because the light goes off every three seconds.Easily the best $60 I have spent for myself in a long time

Best watch you could ever ask for!
Literally the best watch I have ever owned. This watch has dates programmed all the way until 2099. So if you're like me and you want your watch to keep the time and date without ever having to worry about it or setting it, this is the watch for you. This watch is for you athletes who might beat up your watch on runs/hikes/swims and need a tough watch to handle it all. If you are looking for a luxury watch that you can wear on interviews and formal occasions, this watch will also work (depending on what kind of person you are and what style you have). But this watch is really for everyday users who need a shock resistant watch, with really easy readability and quick time telling with a digital display. At first I was skeptical of the black face and white numbers and how difficult it was going to be to read it, but after using it for years, I have never had a difficulty reading the watch. I have taken this watch on climbs at Joshua Tree, swims in the ocean, and runs all over the place. What is really amazing and convenient is that after a long day getting your watch beat up and dirty, you can take it with you in the shower, wash it off and not have to worry about anything since it is water resistant up to 200 meters! On top of that, this watch has a very accurate 0.1 second stopwatch if you are in need of timing your runs or sprints or keeping track of laps in the pool. It has 31 time zones, world time, and 5 independent alarms for you travelers. Battery life is said to last 7 years and I have yet to change my battery since I've purchased it. I have bought over 15 watches trying to find the best everyday watch, and this is by far the best one!

Tough, nice looking, but not perfect at keeping time
I have owned this watch for over a year now, and have had ample time to assess it. It is definitely X-Large, which I prefer in a watch. The illumination is bright and the build on the G-Shock watches are unmistakably tough and well done. This watch has a stopwatch, daylight savings time function if you are unfortunate like me and live somewhere that for some reason still observes that crap, is water resistant, a cool second ticker, day/date, and the ability to customize a couple of time zones that you can quickly switch between. I am sure there are more functions that i am forgetting about or just don't use, like an alarm (my smartphone bears that burden). The watch also looks very cool and rugged. I work in a hospital, so this watch has been beat, banged, washed, and disinfected more times than I can count and it still looks like the day I bought it. The only downside, which I dinged it a star for because it is pretty significant, is the fact that the watch noticeably loses time...I expected better timekeeping from Casio, as I bought one of their most basic watches and it kept time like a champ for as long as I had it. However, I find that every 3-4 months I am having to reset the seconds because it will be about 10-15 seconds ahead. Now it may not sound like much, but come on, timekeeping is really the only thing I expect a watch to do an excellent job of. Overall, though I am happy with the purchase

THIS IS THE WATCH TO BUY
This watch is unbelievably rugged. I had taken this watch off and placed it in my jeans pocket when I went to do some spray painting. I had completely forgotten about the watch until after I had laundered the jeans in a hot, heavy soil washer load and then dried the jeans in a hot dryer for 30 minutes along with other laundry. This watch popped out with the dry laundry when I removed all from the dryer. I was pretty irritated at myself for my forgetfulness because the watch had ceased functioning (blank screen) at that point. Lo and behold...after cooling off for about 10 minutes the watch began fully functioning again and now, several hours later, the watch continues to work perfectly. The watchband is also in perfect shape having received no damage whatsoever. All that I can say is WOW!!! I was impressed by this modestly priced watch when I received it and am incredibly more so now. Anyone wanting an accurate and rugged wristwatch at a very reasonable price need to look no further than the Casio GD 100 G-Shock!!
