For what I need, it’s a little “overkill”, as it is used for filling a PCP cylinder ( 280cc ), but I know the compressed air will be free from impurities. A quality piece of kit which reflects good value for money.

I use a much smaller filter upstream of this which got completely saturated with water when filling my 7 litre bottle from empty. The carbon element part of this filter got pretty wet but no water seemed to get any further and the exit of the filter was completely dry. I'd recommend replacing the silica balls with colour activated ones, it gives you a very good visual illustration of whether the water is making it that far so you can dry it out.

Arrived much quicker than expected, within a couple of days in fact. Has one set of filter materials installed from new and one set of bottles to exchange it. You can dry off the dessicant by spreading the granules onto a tray and heating in the oven for a few hours. It won't dry on its own without heat. I don't really need the carbon filter so will replace that with molecular seive for extra drying capability. What it does need is a bracket of some sort to mount it vertically, it must be used in that orientation and not laid flat. Quick and dirty method would be to use a couple of jubilee clips to clamp it to a home made wooden stand, I made a brass clamp which holds it to the side of my workbench. It's a bit expensive considering the cost is about 1/3 that of a new compressor, but essential (IMO) to prevent water/oil getting into your PCP.

An excellent high pressure filter that removes both water and oil from your compressor. Ideal for pcp not sure if I would trust it for breathing air but that’s not my use. Make sure it’s installed right way round carbon is last stage or you will over pressure your pump and there aren’t instructions

The filter well made with 8mm wall, Only trouble take 3x longer to refill my PCP Rifle with a GX PUMP CS3 PCP Air Compressor as the filter is like another cylinder to fill ,, should work great with larger compressor I placed a fibre filter before rifle cylinder no sign of Oil or Water just to check one time

I use this with my separate water separator and it seems to doing a good job of keeping the air in my bottles/ guns dry so far
