Hi, I did get the book real fast. I did learn from it. It;s a good book, well worth the price. Told me a lot of things I did not know about my African Dwarf frog. He is going on 7yrs. old, so that tells you I was doing something right with him. The book is great it tells you everything, and I mean everything about the frog. So glad I got it,, but I wished I would have gotten it a long time ago. But he looked good, and the book tells you to give him Blood worms, and other things I didm;know to give him. He looks a lot happier now that he is getting different kinds of worms and foods. You won;t be sorry if you get the book, you will learn a lot, like I did. Dolores

Useful book about my new pet. I've had aquariums since I was a teenager. I now have a 55gallon and a 10 gallon tank. I just purchased three female guppies along with one frog for the 10 gallon. I don't know much about these frogs, though over the years I've read about them and decided I would like to get one later on along the way. I saw it in the pet store swimming around and up and down with the guppies and after reading a leaflet about them, I made the purchase. I've learned various things about them on the web with differing views on feeding and care. the book is varied as well, but I do like the convenience of having a bit of information at hand right off my book shelf. This book isn't very big and for me, I don't think is worth the price. Half the price, but if you're looking for information on these tiny little showmen (and women) all in one place, I do recommend it. It's a fast and easy read.

I recently established a fish tank with a few guppies and two of these adorable African Dwarf Frogs. The pet store was able to give us some advice on how to care for the tank and how many fish and frogs we could put in the size tank we purchased. The care sheets available in pet stores leaves a lot to be desired. Even the knowledge of the employees can vary quite a bit. I searched my local libraries and even the internet and was surprised at what a difficult time I had finding information about African Dwarf Frogs. This book really helped me understand these frogs, their behavior and feeding needs, etc. This book gave me the confidence to feel like a good caretaker for these frogs and gave me the opportunity to teach my two boys about the responsibility of caring for pets. Thank you again for this much needed book!

I’ve been taking care of African Dwarf Frogs since 2012. I know a lot about them as it is, but I still bought this book. It’s very informative and I learned new things about ADF’s from the book. It’s great for beginners as well as intermediate ADF caregivers. I would recommend for anyone

The contained information was pretty good, but the book needs a second edition badly. Most of the URLs are to dead web sites

A great book. For a ten year old who agrees to adopt a couple of African Dwarf Frogs from his class project this book is most helpful. This ten year old will be presenting a Bingo game book report about this book to his class on Monday. Wish him luck.His frogs have laid eggs and practiced amplexus breeding twice already. Using PH strips to test acidic levels, cleaning the tank weekly, feeding small amounts twice daily of sinking pellets, frozen foods, freeze-dried foods is a family effort.

This is a good book for quick reference checks when starting out with African Dwarf Frogs. I found page 66 in chapter 5 particularly helpful when discussing Tank Parameters. I have that page flagged to use as a quick reference when needed. There are also some good practical care suggestions in the book. As the book states, more exensive research beyond this book will be needed, though.

I bought this book 3 weeks ago as I was thinking of starting this as a new hobby. I knew little or nothing about this subject until I bought the book. It was full of practical information, which for me as a newbie was a god send.Good points; easy to understand and strait forward, easy to read.Bad points; there could have been more information on rare diseases.Recommended.

A good easy read just right for a new owner of the African Dwarf Frog. Just the right amount of relevant information.
