My husband is a disabled veteran so we always have grabbers on hand to help him. It helps him pick up things and reach things up high. These ones are great. They aren’t too heavy which makes it rough. It is also nice that they can collapse as well. The rubberized tips help to grip things too. My kids enjoy using them too and if they’re easy enough for a 4 year old then they’re easy enough for anyone.

We bought this for trash pick up for the sports field, but in testing it, we use it for toys around the house! Kid toys inside and dog toys outside. It does a great job grabbing, can pick up larger items like shoes and random clothes as well as smaller items like pens/pencils and legos. Nice option is the ability to fold down, but we keep it open all the time and place it in the corner.

My buddy and I had a huge community volunteer event that involved 7 miles to be covered while picking up roadside trash. Grabbers were a must! I decided to get these for their compact size. How cool that they came in a two pack! 20 minutes into our event ... BLAMO. My grabber broke. :( We tried to used tape to hold things in place but nothing worked. They weren't grabbing the way they should (everything slipped through them). The 6.5 hour event was brutal without grabbers. I wasn't happy. Maybe it was just my grabber? Nope. My buddy's broke 40 minutes after mine. Same deal for her. These are garbage. Go with a different brand. Upside? Both grabbers went to the dump after the fact and contributed to our count of 140 lbs. of trash collect (with ZERO help from these grabbers).

This was a good value had it been truly functional. I gave one away, and trashed the other. There were two things about this that caused me to regret my purchase.. First the "claw" was perpendicular to the handle which meant it could not be used in tight spaces to grab something because it didn't fit. The second thing is the the claw wasn't even accurately perpendicular. It was cocked to the side. Because things lock in place as designed, it could not be fixed.

I've used grabbers for years..I've been getting the 'as seen on tv' gophers' but before I found them this time, I came across these first and thought I'd try them--(couldn't beat the price for 2!) Anyway, I love these..they seems a bit more sturdier than my older ones too, which I like, and I LOVE those grippy things on the prongs!!..and the rotatable head. So, these will get MUCH use as I use these A LOT!! I'll see how they hold up in the long run.
