PDP Wired Fight Pad for Wii U - Donkey Kong

Got this for my son so he could play Smash bros on wii U and he has played the heck out of it with no problems. That is a shining endorsement for a controller, as so many controller manufacturers cheap out. Looked good, felt good, and has held up to extended play.

looks and feels exactly like the Gamecube controller. It's a good thing it functions just like the Wii classic controller since it can be used to play Wii and Wii U software because it connects with the Wii Remote. This controller is design is ideal for playing N64 Virtual console software, much better than the regular Wii classic controller. And of course, I'm a huge Donkey Kong fan so any Nintendo merchandise with his logo or imagery is greatly appreciated, not everything has to be Mario, Zelda, or PokeMon.

Controller appears well made, is attractive and works nicely. My "kids" (ages 19, 20 and 28) have been using original Game Cube controllers with our classic Wii, and they report that the button mappings differ (didn't take them long to adjust) and that they feel a little light. This is because these are not force feedback controllers, and don't include motors with offset weights inside. Plugging this controller into the Wii remote (which is how they work - like a nun chuck) and not being tethered to the console is great. We own the Donkey Kong, Wario, Mario, Link and Princess Peach controllers (some purchased elsewhere due to availability).

When I first got this product I was a little skeptical that it might not work based on some reviews. When I plugged it in, these suspicions were affirmed as it kept randomly disconnecting for no reason. I returned the product to amazon and got a replacement which works perfectly. I am satisfied with the product now, but the lack of quality control pdp seems to have is quite disheartening. Overall, happy with the product, but might try the hori as this one feels a bit small and the back doesn't have as much hand room.

My nine year old son LOVES this controller. I got this for him for Christmas since it was on his list and he is so happy with it. He says it makes it easier for him to play the Wii U. I think it is so cute in the colors of Donkey Kong. He now wants all the others too!

It feels nice to the touch and it is very responsive, but after 45 minutes of light play the joystick stopped working and and the B buttons had random outputs. I am not rough on my controllers at all, so the fact it broke in a hour is upsetting. Going to try again, I'm sure it was just a defect.

A lot of Gamecube controllers these days are cheap and break easily, so I wanted to get the Nintendo-licensed product. I was disappointed to discover that these controllers don't have the same shape, weight, or button response as the OG controllers. Another disappointment is that Smash for Wii U maps out the controls differently from Melee/Brawl and you have to manually change the controller profile to get things behaving the way anyone would intend to use them. Combine that with the fact that I won't be able to use these on any other system, including the Switch, because they attach to Wii remotes only, and I would much rather have kept buying the flimsy ones that at least felt right.

Arrived in a few days , well packed & what I can see very well made, lovely colours & looks really nice , It also works on Wii not just Wii U, so we found out,

Bought so that my kids could both play Minecraft. Works a treat. Makes for an interesting experience playing Mario Kart as well. Good quality for the money, the buttons are responsive and the branding is cool.

Rien à redire sur cette manette.Les couleurs sont bof.Le plastique brillant fait un peu cheap mais elle est très fonctionnelle.Bon retour lors de l'appui des boutons.Je recommande.
