I recently purchased the Axe Sickle 304 Stainless Steel 3 Inch S Hooks for some additional hanging storage in my garage. Overall, these hooks are quite sturdy and can handle a significant amount of weight. They are made from durable stainless steel, which gives me confidence in their longevity and strength. However, I noticed that the hooks are a bit smaller than I expected. While they still work for most of my needs, it would have been helpful to have slightly larger hooks for some of the bulkier items. Additionally, the finish on a couple of the hooks wasn't as smooth as I would have liked, leading to some minor scratches on one of my items. Despite these minor issues, the hooks serve their purpose well and are a useful addition to my organizational tools. If you're looking for heavy-duty hooks and don't mind the smaller size, these are a good option.

I needed these hooks to go around a common bar/pipe for hanging clothes. The hooks aren't open wide enough to do so, that's my fault. I thought if I could open them just a bit they could make it. I put it in the vise and put a pipe wrench on it. Without putting too much weight on it I could tell it wasn't going anywhere. I'm close to 300 lbs. and I knew it would snap before it would bend. Bottom line is these things are really strong in the direction the load is supposed to pull.

Perfect for my need. Hook a chain across my bed in the truck. Chain used for a hoist connection.

Sturdy hooks. Worked perfectly

Used to hang bee swarm catchers from trees on chains. Check Thickness of hook against loop opening of chain. I had to go up a size on the chain links.
